In this podcast, we talk all about our four night Disney Wonder Cruise! For the trip, we stopped in Nassau, Castaway Cay, and spent a day at sea. The newly imagined Disney Wonder is an incredible ship and we give all the tips and tricks for parents and kids.  We will discuss embarkation and debarkation tips from where to park to how to get off of the ship quickly.  Then, we will explain everything about rotational dining and how the process works from keeping your same waiters to the different restaurants you will visit.  We explain Disney entertainment and extras that you can do while on board.  And we even go into detail on what Castaway Cay is like and how we did with running the 5k there!

The cruise is just the first half of our entire vacation.  Join us next week when we finish the trip report with how we spent the time after the cruise in Disney World.  We look forward to hearing back from you and learning any tips or trick you have on your Disney vacations.  Thanks for listening!

Today we talk about Trader Sam’s at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.  The original Tiki Bar can be found at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim by the pool and is called Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.  Opening in March of 2015, the Walt Disney World version in Orlando is called Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.  Both are named after the famous head hunter found in the Jungle Cruise ride in the Magic Kingdom and are extremely cool.  While many people think of Trader Sam’s as just a bar and not for kids, these two Tiki Bars are very entertaining for the entire family (before 8pm when only adults can get in).  Parents will be able to take a break from the parks and get a drink and kids will be entertained by the showmanship of the bartenders bringing out all of their incredible concoctions.

Let us know if you’ve ever been to Trader Sam’s and what you think!

In this episode we talk about our upcoming vacation on a Disney Cruise and Walt Disney World.  Disney cruises are unique for many reasons, including rotational dining and their own private island!! We are taking a four night cruise on the Disney Wonder to Nassau and Castaway Cay.  Another thing Disney does is include Pirate Night!!  This pirate-themed party extends from dining to top decks and ends with fireworks at sea.  It is definitely something to “see”.  We then are coming back to Saratoga Springs and going to all four parks in a short amount of time.  We have reservations at California Grill, Yak & Yeti, Paddlefish, Be Our Guest, Chef Mickey’s, Via Napoli, and more.  We can’t wait and hope you will enjoy hearing about our upcoming trip.  Please connect with us at the links below.  We would love to hear from you!
