Why in the world would someone who lives so far away from me, call me that?
Hi Neighbor!
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we would just greet each other with a simple phrase, Hi Neighbor?
In this episode, I would like to share with you a couple of stories to illustrate why I just called you Neighbor. And then secondly, why I created the podcast Anchors of Encouragement.
I hope you enjoy this episode.
Your Neighbor,
P.S. I’ll tie both stories into your Daily Doable.

Hi Neighbor!
Have you ever had to say a hard goodbye? We all have. They can turn you into a nervous wreck. You’re anxious, scared, and unsure of yourself. I know I was.
Today, I would like to share with you a story about the hardest goodbye I’ve ever had to say. I’ve said final goodbyes to both my parents. Those were hard goodbyes, but the goodbye I have in mind today is by far the hardest one I’ve ever had to say.
In this episode, I’m also going to share with you 3 Ways to Face Adversity with Courage and Confidence.
I hope these ideas encourage you.
Tim
P.S. I’ll also share a bonus way to face adversity with the Supreme Anchor and tie it all together with your Daily Doable.

Ever Said Something Out of Anger or Frustration? Become a Paper Tiger Instead?
Hi Neighbor!
Have you ever said something out of anger or frustration and as soon as it left your mouth, you wish you could take it back?
Been there and done that more times than I care to remember.
In this episode, I want to encourage you to become a Paper Tiger instead. But not a paper tiger in the traditional sense. We’ll consider a different take on this metaphor as we look at the Self-Awareness Anchor.
And I want to share with you 3 benefits of taking out your frustrations on paper.
I pray this episode helps you avoid saying things you will regret.
Your Neighbor,
P.S. I’ll also share a bonus benefit for paper sparring and tie it all together with your Daily Doable.

Welcome to a new chapter of our podcast journey. Previously known as Anchors of Encouragement, our podcast is now called Adoption Struggles and Support.
We’ve rebranded to make the podcast easier for struggling adoptive parents to find and access the support they need in their parenting journey.
To introduce this new chapter, we released an updated trailer that reflects our renewed focus on providing hope and practical support. The earlier episodes are packed with encouragement and insights, providing a strong foundation of support as we continue this journey together.
If you're a struggling adoptive parent searching for answers in your parenting journey, you're in the right place.
Hi Neighbor,
I too felt the joy of having a family of my own, and I wish we could be like other families. But I found myself up late at night, anxious about my adopted child’s future and asking myself, will my child be okay? Where did I go wrong?
It was only by grabbing a lifeline from God and my friends that I was able to navigate the challenges of adoptive life. And now I can’t wait to share everything I’ve learned with you.
My mission is to teach Christian adoptive parents how to be okay even if their kids aren’t by anchoring them in biblical principles.
If you’re ready for real and raw talk with strategies that lead to peace beyond comprehension, so you not only survive, but thrive in life's storms, this podcast is for you.
Anchors of Hope and Healing are on the way.
P.S. You’re not alone in this journey. If you haven’t already joined our private community, consider this an invitation. It’s a safe space to share your struggles and triumphs with fellow adoptive parents who truly understand what you're going through.
