With all of the talk these days about the toxic environment in social media, I've found it's important to find the people and accounts that offer inspiration. I once heard someone say, 'Feed your feed with things that genuinely feed your soul.'
I've been trying to take that advice. I've muted or unfollowed toxic accounts and people in my life and I've filled the spaces with people like Elizabeth Earnshaw aka @lizlistens.
Elizabeth is a relationship therapist based out of the Philadelphia area, but she's built up a strong social following as @lizlistens. Essentially it's a way to extend her reach to people who otherwise may not be able to get to her practice. Her posts are inspirational, informative but, most importantly, they're positive. It's the kind of stuff I needed.
I caught up with Liz to talk about her internet presence, but also to chat about her practice, what she does with clients, how she got to this career and how she turns off the work brain when it's time to get back with her family.
I really loved this conversation and I hope you do too. I'm definitely planning on bringing Liz back on in the future. She was amazing.
