How many times have you used the phrase, "There's just not enough time in the day"? What if I told you that there's a lot more time than you think? That's the subject of this week's episode.
Behavioral scientist, and happiness researcher, Ashley Whillans has been studying time, and our use of it, as it relates to our happiness. Her research is fascinating. Thanks to modern technology we actually have more free time on our hands right now than we did in the 1950's. But, also thanks to modern technology, we waste it or find ourselves trapped in time-sucking situations.
Ashley has some advice for us on how we can try to take back control of time and use it to find more happiness in life. I've already started working some of these plans into my daily routine and I do think it's working.
If you want to find out more about Ashley, or her upcoming book, "Time Smart: How To Reclaim Your Time & Live A Happier Life," take a look at her website awhillans.com
