In this week’s episode, we’re talking about a hard but important truth — people will show you who they are.
Sometimes it’s through their actions. Sometimes it’s through their words. And sometimes… it’s both. The real question is, why don’t we always listen?
We get into how this shows up at different stages of life. When we’re younger, it can be about wanting to fit in, find our people, or not fully knowing ourselves yet. That can lead to overlooking things that actually bother us more than we realize.
As we get older, experience starts to shift that perspective. We begin to recognize patterns, understand our boundaries better, and see people more clearly — even when it’s not what we want.
We also talk about how this can be even harder in romantic relationships, where feelings are involved and it’s easier to assume someone has the same intentions as you. The truth is, they don’t always.
Sometimes learning that comes with time… and a few tough lessons along the way.
If you’ve ever ignored a red flag or realized something a little later than you wish you had, this episode is for you.
