Taylor sets out for an early spring ride with the guys in Sweden along the Trans Euro Trail (TET). He takes some great field notes for us! Later in the show, Aaron interviews Mark Richardson, the author of "Zen and Now: On the Trail of Robert Pirsig and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance."

Beau Earnest takes some time from building his next cannonball ride to talk to us about his Motorcycle Cannonball record. He set a new record at 32 hours and 32 minutes over April 19-21, 2024. He was riding a modified Yamaha FJR1300 with extra fuel capacity and other cool farkles. He covered 2,800 miles in total and only stopped five times for gas, averaging 86.5 mph.

Taylor travels to Surrey, England to interview Elspeth Beard at her home. Elspeth Beard is an architect and motorcyclist, noted for being the first Englishwoman to ride a motorcycle around the world. She later redesigned the historic Munstead Tower in Godalming, winning the 1994 Royal Institute of British Architects award for South East England. She now owns an architectural firm based in a converted stable in Godalming. She is a friend and an inspiration to us both.

Author of “Riding in the Wild” now on the ADV Cannonball Motorcycle Book Club

Jordan Gibbons is a London-based freelance writer and photographer with an extreme interest in two-wheeled adventures.

He worked as a the Senior Reporter, News Writer and News Editor for MCN for six action-packed years and broke many amazing tales around new bikes and the issues surrounding motorcycling.

Jordan, a lover of all bikes – even Harley-Davidsons!- has taken to two wheels all over the world and attended many launches for MCN, especially on bikes of the adventure variety. Jordan loves a motorcycling mission and has ridden across Europe, Africa and India when the mood’s taken him. He’s also a keen member of the custom bike scene and has been known to modify a few bikes of his own.
Jordan is also partial to two wheels of the non-engined variety and is a former editor of cyclist.co.uk and has contributed to Bikes Etc.,. When he’s not riding, racing and crashing bicycles, he’s riding, racing and (spectacularly) crashing motorcycles instead!

Jordan now works for Norton Motorcycles and is incredibly excited about the new TVS-owned company and what the future holds for them.

Taylor interviews Konrad Flemk in the Everyday Adventurer segment. Konrad is a Swede living in Jupiter, Florida where he can be found on his HD Fatboy cruising A1A. In this conversation, he talked about riding scooters in Sweden as a kind and in March 2023 he went on an adventure in Medellín Columbia. Konrad rented a DR650 which turned out that the thumper was the perfect bike for his ADV trip. They discuss planning a foreign trip from home and how those efforts turn into real adventure. Taylor and Konrad discuss the often erroneous security and corrupt policing concerns about solo moto-travel to Medellín Columbia. The 2023 trip was such a success that Konrad and his brother returned for another trip on October 24’. Konrad talks about his plans to meet up with his brother down South in the near future.

We are discussing the setup of GPS tracking for motorcycle rallies and adventures. Additionally, we'll provide updates on the ADV Cannonball Rally. Aaron will share a ride report from late January, detailing his trip from TJ to Bisbee, AZ. During his journey, he visits Slab City and the Salton Sea but encounters some snow along the way.
