After Lunch

CT and Pax sit back and discuss the first two seasons of CW's Arrow show.  We talk about our favorite and not so favorite characters.  We discuss the actors portraying the characters and how the CW has translated Green Arrow to the screen.  We even discuss the first episode of season three as well as the spinoff show The Flash.

Lots to discuss in Nerd Lunch's primer for Arrow.

CT and Pax are joined by the co-hosts of Classic Film Jerks, Digio and Bloom, to help kick off their new podcast experiment, The Recast. In The Recast Digio and Bloom are joined by a guest to recast famous and not so famous movies with currently working actors. This week they join us to recast one of all of our favorites, the Steven Spielberg Robert Zemekis joint, Back to the Future. Expect our picks to be all over the map, most especially for Doc Brown. It's a lot of fun and an interesting discussion.

Take a trip back in time to the first podcast the Nerd Lunch trio recorded together. Unreleased until now, hear our test show where we discussed unaired pilots. On the discussion: Heat Vision & Jack, Lookwell, Justice League and Global Frequency. My oh my...how young we were...

CT, Jeeg and Pax return to the beginning in their 150th episode. Taking the topic they used in the unaired pilot they recorded when they first started forming what this podcast would be, the trio talk about some unaired pilots they tracked down. The 1960s Batgirl, Superpup, Mercy Reef/Aquaman and the David E. Kelley Wonder Woman are all discussed. Nerd To-Dos feature Arrow, Doctor Who arguments, and more on what Lorenzo Lamas is up to.

Programming note: Next week, we will release our unaired pilot as a special "extra helping" episode. We'll then take another week off and be back with episode 151 in two weeks.

Hurtled 10 months into the future, our long lost 110th episode has finally been retrieved out of the time stream. CT and Pax welcome back to the show Tim Lybarger in this special episode. The three members of the podcast are thrown back to three different points in their history where they must survive ten months with nothing but the clothes on their back. How do they survive? What friends do they make in the past? What do they change? All these questions are answered and more! Plus, Nerd To-Dos feature Doctor Who, Thor and Christmas.

Jeremy from GeekChunks takes up position in the Fourth Chair this week as we put together a Battle of the Network Stars for a new generation. New "networks", people approximating "stars", and more extreme events put the Nerd Lunch stamp on this old favorite. Our Nerd To Dos feature the newest Jumper book, The Strain, The Winter Soldier Blu-ray, and a #LorenzoWatch2014 update.
