After Lunch

Some funny preshow banter featuring Googling for pictures of intimate dancing, riding on the Doof Wagon and Patreon support.

This week on Nerd Lunch we are discussing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 with Evan Hanson and Michael May. Expect to hear lots of talk about Baby Groot, Ego, Ego's planet face and The Hoff!

The Rabbit Hole crew welcome CollectingCandy.com's Jason Liebig to the show. This time, they head back to Wikipedia but add the restriction that they can only use junk food links to get around. This episode is full of sugary goodness!

No guys allowed on this extra helping of Nerd Lunch! Following the cue by the Alamo Drafthouse, Nerd Lunch turns the reigns over to some of the ladies of the Fourth Chair Army. Returning guests Stacey Rader and Michelle Houghton, along with new guest Liz Twachtman, form the official Nerd Lunch review panel of Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins. Jeeg and Pax welcome John Vanover back to the show for another screening of Kung Fu Theater. This time the nerds tackle a long overdue discussion of the legendary Jackie Chan centered on the first of the Three Dragons movies, Project A. Co-starring Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao, it features plenty of action, a healthy dose of comedy, an almost satisfactory amount of pirates, and one of Jackie's most epic stunts. Listen and find out if you can't spell awesome without 'A'.

In this episode, CT and Pax are joined by returning guest William Bruce West and new guest, Vincent from therobotspajamas.com and they talk about deaths of major characters in pop culture. They also talk about some of the deaths that didn't stick. And then, in classic Nerd Lunch fashion, the crew each kill off a major character themselves. Goodbye Santa Claus, Captain America, Michael Knight and Harry Potter!
