I have been tasked with teaching Sunday School for a group of 3rd graders at my church and this past weekend, it was a MESS. Producer Josh and I dig into what went down and discuss whether or not my time is best served with this group of rambunctious kiddos.

Let's learn a new language, shall we?

We're going to learn one phrase, one that's super appropriate for the season. It's "Merry Christmas" in the language of Slovene. You can impress all your friends and maybe even Slovenian Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.

Why am I bringing up any of this? I got spend close to an hour this morning talking to my best friend who lives in Slovenia as a missionary. I am so thankful and grateful for technology and the ability to merely press a button on a screen and talk to a friend on the other side of the world! She asked me to be praying for the church in Slovenia and I bet you know someone maybe from your church who is spending this Christmas season the other side of the globe spreading the love of Jesus. I was wondering, would you be praying as well?

After 3 straight losses, there are bad attitudes all over the place with this Cowboys team: fans, players, even Jerry Jones! I think what this team needs is a change in attitude to turn the ship around.

It's no secret I have a deep love for any and cooking/baking shows! There's something so therapeutic about them.

If you've already put up your Christmas decorations, then chances are you've come across your favorite ornament! One that you love putting on your tree, one that probably has a story behind it that involves a certain memory or smell.

For me, it's these 5 matchboxes covered in green felt. In each of these little matchboxes, my mom would write these little notes every Christmas that would give us clues to find little presents around the Christmas season. I still have them and cherish them dearly!

What ornament or decoration signifies Christmas to you?

You may have a friend who is going through a difficult season right now and instead of asking the same question "What can I do for you?", being more specific could go a long way in being a blessing to that friend!

Over the last couple of weeks, I've experienced a number of different losses that had me thinking about those who are walking through grief right now in a season that is filled with holiday spirit and celebration. What's the best way to walk through that?

Have you ever been tempted at the thought of praying for something? Maybe you've thought, "HA! God doesn't care about my (fill in the blank)!" I definitely have. And then I was reminded of a story about Corrie Ten Boom and the answered prayer that came in the form of a handkerchief. No prayer or thing is too insignificant for our God!

Maybe you've got somebody in your world who is going to be moving or maybe you'll have some extra time on your hands this Thanksgiving (between the football games of course).
