In this episode, I have a conversation with Joval Webbe. Joval Webbe, MAT, MSN, RN is an expert of her own body, and at asking questions. She is catalyzed by discomfort, courageously challenging her fears, proving herself right and others wrong, and above all, living the life she knows God created and purposed her to live. With her unwavering God-given vision of living healthier and being comfortable in her own skin, she lost more than 85 pounds and has kept it off for over four years because she internalized "be transformed by the renewing of your mind". For her, that meant no longer betraying herself or her faith and fully embracing fun.Joval earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology/ Sociology and Spanish from Goucher College, a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from Simmons University, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Clinical Nurse Leadership from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, and she is a Registered Nurse. Fueled by her own transformation, Joval wanted to dive deeper into the sciences of weight loss to better equip herself to teach women of color and women of faith how to reclaim their lives through weight loss. She’s turned her personal transformations into her business, Extend Yourself Grace LLC™️, and helping women of color and women of faith learn to live healthier and fulfilled by aligning our actions with our faith.
