Former UTSA Baseball player Jonathan Tapia joins the show to claim the throne for the most guest appearances on Around the Bird Bath and break down some observations from UTSA's 7-4 win over UIW on Tuesday.

Lisa Campos moved quickly, hiring Alabama assistant Austin Claunch as UTSA's next Men's Basketball Head Coach just days after announcing that Steve Henson's contract would not be renewed. In this emergency pod we discuss what Claunch brings to the table and why he's a good fit. We also send Henson off with an honest assessment of the ups and downs of his stint at UTSA, as well as appreciate Karen Aston's WBB team as they make a run in the AAC conference tournament.

UTSA continued to struggle against opponents from the Western Athletic Conference as the Abilene Christian Wildcats defeated the Roadrunners for the second straight year. A stellar relief appearance from Braylon Owens went to waste as UTSA fell 3-4. The Roadrunners now hold a losing record on the season as Northwestern travels to the Bird Bath for what should be a challenging series.

If there was any doubt that Tarleton State's walk-off grand slam in February left a bad taste in UTSA's mouths, well Wednesday's outcome should answer that. The Roadrunners ran wild on the Texans' pitching staff, driving in 21 runs for the highest run output of the season. Dan is joined by T.Texas Tony Turnstile to break down UTSA's big win. After an underwhelming appearance in the Sugar Land Classic, UTSA salvaged their Houston road trip with a road victory over the Houston Cougars.
