Steelers reporter Alan Saunders from Pittsburgh Sports Now joined the show. Alan said Mike Tomlin is way more hands-on than any other coach at the Senior Bowl. Alan thinks Mike just loves to see how guys are wired and meeting them in-person. Based on what Omar Khan and Andy Weidl want to build here, going defensive line early, and maybe more than once in the draft, is something we should expect to see. Alan isn’t confident that there is a WR that is ready to replace George Pickens in this class. Alan doesn’t think the Steelers 1st round pick is at the Senior Bowl.
