  • Overcoming Fear with Kamilla Holst {e151}

    Today I’m speaking with an inspiring wellpreneur and one of my good friends here in Hong Kong, Dr Kamilla Holst. Kamilla is a chiropractor specializing in care of mothers and babies, but in today’s conversation we’re exploring one of her other interests, which is overcoming fear. And not just her own fears in her business, but particularly helping her clients and friends face the fears they have in their life and overcome them. We also talk about the book she recently released where she shared her own experience in facing fears, but Kamilla also shares the system and process that you can use in your life and the small steps to take to face your own fears, because fears are often what’s often holding us back from having the life we really dream of. We also touch on daily routines and what keeps her in balance, social media and email management, how to get great referrals, book publishing + more!

  • Medicinal Soups with Peggie Zih {e150}

    You’re probably familiar with using medicinal herbs as teas – but what about using them in our soups and broths? In Chinese culture, soups are used as a daily nourishment filled with specially chosen herbs and vegetables to balance the body. I’ve been fascinated (and daunted!) by the idea of including these herbs in my own soups and broths, so this week I invited Peggie Zih, naturopath and herbalist, onto the podcast to talk to us about the traditional usage of medicinal soups – and how we can start to add herbs into our own soups at home, and what herbal soups are good for!

  • Want to work with Moms on Self-Care? {e149}

    Do you want to work with Moms on improving their self-care?

    This episode was inspired by our recent Nail Your Niche challenge. I see so many wellpreneurs wanting to work with Moms to help them with their stress, anxiety, poor sleep, weight gain etc, by encouraging them to take more time for self-care. Well – despite your good intentions, talking with moms about self-care is often a frustrating target market with low sales … and here’s why. I’m going to explore exactly why this target market is hard to reach and the huge (and sometimes hidden) cultural influences that may be sabotaging your sales. BUT not all is lost! You absolutely CAN work with moms AND help them with self-care, you just need to know the right way to approach them. We’ll talk about that too. This episode is a must-listen if you want to work with moms, but also for any wellpreneurs who want to hone their marketing mind and learn how to communicate with their ideal client.…

  • Start Where You Are with Elizabeth Rider {e146}

    Start where you are. That’s the overarching message I took away from today’s conversation with health coach Elizabeth Rider. Although now Elizabeth has led more than 10,000 people through online courses and has a show on FMTV she started with a blogger site and zero audience – and it took time to grow. During our conversation today we talk about how Elizabeth’s business has evolved (including the first products she sold and her first website!), how she’s continued to build a community through blogging, whether it’s worth it to invest in SEO, and the advice she’d give herself just starting out.

  • Email Overwhelm with Willo O'Brien {e143}

    Who doesn’t feel overwhelmed by email from time to time? In this week’s episode, I share a conversation with conscious business coach Willo O’Brien about how we manage our work and personal email, including loads of process and tool recommendations – and some mindset shifts, to make the email feel easy again! We talk about what helped us take the pressure off by simply accepting that when running your own business getting your inbox to zero shouldn’t really be your top priority. And that an email overwhelm comes from us and our current mindset, so we talk about how we changed that first, and then we get into the strategies for email management. Tune in 🙂

  • Intuitive Business with Holly Worton {e142}

    How do you make decisions in your business: with your mind or with your gut? In this week’s episode, I’m speaking with Holly Worton about how to incorporate more intuition into your business. And if you feel like you don’t have it in you and if your overly academic mind is not allowing you to tune into your body and what it’s trying to tell you, you’ll find this really interesting. As someone who was not really in tune with her body, Holly shares how she awakened her own intuition, small practices you can do to start listening to your inner self, and how to distinguish a good intuitive feeling from making impulsive decisions that feel right but are actually awaken by fear. We talk about how nurturing business intuition can really make a positive impact on your business and your life and make taking action in your business so much easier.
