    Contentment is linked to happiness. 

    This is a love letter to Black women who are healing themselves, rediscovering their joy. 

    Black woman self care, healing and self love, self compassion. 

    Life is beautiful. If only we could see it.

    What advice would you give yourself 10 years ago? 

    If I can go back in time, I would give some love, encouragement and words of wisdom to my 20 year old self. 

    The one thing that I'd tell her is that I am PROUD of her. 

    The love letter project is a series for Healing Black women. 

    The encourage self compassion, self care and eventually, self love. 

    These sessions are a  solo part of my "Love, Black Women" Series centered around Black women sharing their stories and writing Love Letters to Black women.

    Here are 10 gentle reminders for Tired and Exhausted Black women who may struggling with rest, healing from hustle culture, overworking and overwhelm. 

    I released an episode called "Black Women Deserve Deep Rest" and many resonated with it. 

    Black women are exhausted. Hustle culture is not for Black women, and it takes work to unravel from the grasp of The American Dream and Capitalism. 

    There is no rest for Black women in America unless you take it for yourself.

    This is a love letter and affirmational soul talk for Black women who never felt beautiful. 

    I spent my entire life believing that I was not beautiful. I looked at what was celebrated in media and looked at myself and saw that I wasn't the phenotype for Beauty in the states. 

    I wasn't even the phenotype for beauty in the Black community. 

    I'm discovering the reasons why I never thought I was beautiful. 

    I'm doing the work to unlearn this, to accept myself, love myself and finally see myself as beautiful, as a work of art, as a masterpiece.
