I’m interviewing Daiyaan, he’s twenty three years old, and dropped out of university at nineteen years of age.
He didn’t see himself doing a nine to five job, so he dropped out of university, and he started working as a marketing consultant for people. He started to make a considerable amount of money: five to six thousand dollars a month, in his first year.
Daiyaan was going into businesses, like public speakers, dating advice companies, and teaching them how to take their businesses online. This was his speciality, and it’s now lead to him teaching this stuff full time.
Businesses need marketing, they’re always going to need marketing advice, not just advice, but they need to figure this stuff out, for their online business. So when he was thirteen or fourteen he started studying this stuff. He started learning about how to get people to come to a website, how to convert traffic into people buying things onto your website.
He taught himself sales copy, and the way he did this, was by going to Google, and searching stuff like ‘how to get people to come to my website.’ Then he would just spend hours going through forums, and different ebooks on stuff. He fell for a few get quick rich schemes, and it wasn’t really real.
Eventually he found some solid advice that actually worked. By the time he was at University, he was nineteen years old, had a wealth of knowledge on these businesses, but he hadn’t tried it out yet.

    1. Which marketing books to read (copywriting etc)
    2. How to do webinars better
    3. The Mindvalley hiring strategy explained (how to take Facebook, Google employees and recruit them for your company)
    4. Why hiring milennials is better for internet based companies
Ajit recommends picking up anything written by Dan Kennedy, as well as a book called copy logic, written by Michael Masterson, which allows you to think logically about copy.
Ajit also gets a lot out of anything written by John Caples. He writes about advertising, but all the concepts apply.
Spin selling is a fantastic book, it’s written for people who pick up the phone. He’s found the concepts behind the spin selling model are applicable to anything. Ajit uses the same model for launches, for consulting calls, for webinars, and anything he has to promote or market.
He also recommends to pick up a book called scientific advertising, it’s a really old book, but it’s a good one. It covers the basics of marketing, and you’ll feel like you already know it all when reading it, but if you really think about it after you’ve finished reading it, it will always give you something new to do, and follow through on.
Ajit’s companies are very much pro about understanding the user experience, and have the most epic experience for every user. If you have a look at his funnel structures, they run a lot of funnels, which are a pile of webinars.
His company does about a webinar a week, in each of his businesses. Sometimes there are as many as two or three webinars, in each of the niches, which is a lot of webinars. First he, and his team were running these webinars live, which was a lot of work, because designers and developers would have to sit down, and create each webinar on a platform.

Wade is a successful dating coach with 12 years of coaching experience. Right now he is an executive coach for entrepreneurs. He has been to 40 countries around the world and has had thousands of clients. He turns 6 – figure entrepreneurs into 7 – figure entrepreneurs with executive life coaching.
A lot of people are stuck charging premium amount of money. That means they have hard times closing sales, they have lack of confidence.
How to be a good public speaker:
    • You need to be very confident in the subject matter.
    • You need to be able to handle social pressure
    • Be comfortable when it comes time to negotiations
    • The hardest time to make a sale is when you need it the most.
Some entrepreneurs have many ups and downs, because they don’t have predictable income. The solution to that is to charge recurring fees. That will get you more security and as a result, this will boost your confidence on sales calls.
It is very hard to be confident on what you are worth if you don’t have 20 leads of similar quality lined up for the next 2 weeks.
How to overcome the fear of getting on a call with potential prospect? The #1 thing when is comes to cold calling is getting on the phone. Business owners are willing to pay enormous amount of money just to get someone on the phone.
Some people think that they can build a website, setup a landing page, they will not need to talk to anyone and all of a sudden they will build a business. In fact, it’s much harder to build a business, especially if you are trying to sell low ticket products.
You need to get in a situation where getting on the phone is fun and enjoyable. After you do several phone calls and you go through rejection a few time, you will stop caring about that. You don’t have to take rejection too personally.
You are doing a disservice to yourself and to your client if you are not pushing it as hard as you can. At the end of the day, if you are providing value to your clients and if you can transform their lives, you have to do whatever it takes to close them.
Many people don’t start a business and prefer to stay in a 9 to 5 job, because they think that starting a business is risky. In fact, it’s not that risky as it seems.
Finding your weaknesses and strengths is a very important part when starting a business. Usually, the things that people are making fun of you for are your biggest strengths.
The only way you can become successful is to take the risk. If you want freedom and to live the life that you want to live, there is a lot of risk and responsibility associated with that. It is very important to have a mindset of going in and jumping in.
Go with the lowest commitment possible. Don’t hire people full time for 40 hours a week. Start with small projects and hire freelancers who are willing to work a few hours a week.
There are genius entrepreneurs who are don’t have any confidence at all. They think that it will take them years to learn how to behave on call, how to hire people and so on.
You have to find your strengths, learn what you are good at and learn how to harness those strengths. Don’t focus on getting better at your weaknesses. Spend more time improving the things that you are good at.

I flew over to the offices of Mindvalley in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to interview Ajit Nawalkha, co-founder at Evercoach (Part of Mindvalley)
    Topics:
    - How to start a company from scratch
    - How to build a business to 6 figures
    - Should you get affiliates before you have a proven offer?
    - Should someone with no history of delivering results create info products?
    - How to manage email lists?
    - How much training to give someone
I’m interviewing Ajit Nawalkha, who’s the co-founder of Mind Valley India, and Ever Coach. Ajit has specialized in marketing (he has teams of people, running marketing in his company).
I have a member who doesn’t know how to start, they are just starting up marketing, and they want to get into making money online, and become good at marketing, and travelling, and sales. They have no idea where to start: they don’t have a product yet, they don’t have a list yet, they don’t have an audience yet, and they don’t know how to get any of those things.
Every time Ajit starts a new company, he always starts off by opening up a simple landing page, for any idea he wants to pursue in the future. The first step to starting a new business, is to understand the market, and how small or narrow you can go, and understand a little bit about the market, so you can create a business from there, and then go further into it.
Ajit started a new coaching business nine month ago, where he addresses coaches, and teaches them how to get better. Instead of jumping straight into the business, he looked at if they had any existing leverage already: he looked at whether there was a place where he could get existing coaches already, who would show up and be interested.
If he saw the interest, the second part was to throw up a landing page, run a couple of Facebook ads, and see if people would be interested. It’s a very easy target, if you know what you’re going to address. For example, if you were starting a coaching business today, you would throw up a landing page, using click farm, unbound, or whichever software you prefer. It costs like ninety dollars, or you might be able to get a free trial. Set up a landing page, with a simple headline saying: ‘how to xyx’ (whatever the xyz is). For Ajit it was ‘how to be a six figure coach’ because he was addressing coaches, and makeing them into better ones.

There are 3 types of excuses people use when they want to start a business, but they decide not to. I am going to share with you several tips on how to overcome these excuses.
These tips will help you achieve more success in your life, more freedom, wealth and will help you become a successful entrepreneur.
I am going to share with you the best practices from my 4 years of experience in training people how to build a business.
Most people are stuck in a job where there is no real way out. There are too afraid to take the next steps and to build a real business.
1 - People blame the idea or the business model. They think that they may fail, that is too risky or that may be a scam. They think that it is very dangerous if they try to start a business and they fail. In fact, even if you fail, you will learn some very valuable skills that can help you in your next adventure.
You need to follow a business model and get proper coaching. You need to learn skills like sales, lead generation, hiring, automation and so on. You cannot just send a few emails to clients and hope to get a sale.
The risk of running a business long term is lower than having a job. You don’t really skills in a job. Moreover, you can get fired at any moment. You just build someone else’s stuff while you are hustling and wasting your time.
You get paid a salary and maybe a bonus at the end of the year, but that is nothing compared to what you can achieve in running your business.
2 - A very common mistake people make is that they think that they are not smart enough to start a business. People think that they need to have several years of experience to be able to run their own business.
There is no maximum skill level. It’s constant growth forever. As an entrepreneur you need to make a commitment to develop your skills every single day. There is a solution to all the problems that may arise in business.
3 – External circumstance excuse. People always come up with excuses like being sick, having a lot of debt, thinking that it’s not the right time to start a business. It does not matter how you feel. You need to make a commitment to focus on your business.
Unless you are very ill lying in bed, there should not be anything that can prevent you from doing that.
If you fail, you need to learn from your failure. You need to get out of that comfort zone. Abandon the excuses and let’s focus on starting a business.
The biggest mistake that you can make as an entrepreneur is to think that your life is very good and you make enough money to live a good life. That is the opposite of entrepreneurship.

I have heard many stories of how people in our mastermind Daily Business Hustle have tried to succeed in business. As a result, I have learnt very valuable lessons that helped me grow my business.
If you want to build a real business, you need to learn skills such as sales, lead generation, hiring people, automation, delivery. It takes some time in the beginning to get started and it is different for each person, but these skills can help you achieve long term success.
Most people get results in business if they learn the needed skills and implement. We are not talking about a quick sale here just to build your portfolio. We are talking about long term success in business.
There is a huge difference between learning skills in business and watching information products online.
Getting a few tips from information courses is completely different from getting mentored from people who have done it before.
Launching information products online and the actual coaching where you sit down with mentors who explain you stuff step by step in incomparable. You can get much bigger success from the actual coaching.
Based on average data, you can get around 50% success rate launching information products online and up to 75% success rate in the coaching space.
The best way to succeed in business is to sit down with a mentor and learn the actual skills from him. He can show you step by step what you need to succeed in business.
There are so many misunderstandings that may arise if you exchange messages with mentors or when watching information courses online. That is why I recommend you get actual training from mentors in person or on a call.
There should be someone available on a regular frequent basis who can help you in business.
In our mastermind Daily Business Hustle, we are focused on results. There are other masterminds which have several video courses and leave you alone. We want our mastermind members achieve results. This is a business that is built from the ground up to deliver results to clients.
There are many companies that automate processes too soon. However, we think you should first figure out how to get results to your clients.
My advice is to work with people who are willing to work with you and allow you to get results. These are people who offer you coaching themselves or have coaches available for you. Moreover, they have already achieved results in their business.
This is a very important distinguish between actual coaching and buying information products online. You decide how you are going to run your business. It is vital how you are going to invest in yourself, because if you educating yourself the right way is one of the most important step towards your business success.

In this podcast, I’m interviewing Chris. He’s seventeen year old, and he’s a member of the Daily Business Hustle, and my mastermind.
Chris is already closing sales, he’s already an entrepreneur. He started with marketing and copywriting when he was fifteen, because of a couple of crazy life issues that he was having. He found school wasn’t going to lead to what he wanted, and that’s when he discovered internet marketing, and copy writing.
He didn’t pursue it with any real intent at first, because he was lazing around slacking off and procrastinating. But he hit a point where he’d had enough, and he wanted to figure it out.
He picked up Eben Pagen, and all the other marketing guru books, and studied them night after night like crazy. He was cold calling, and emailing all these different businesses. Off that he started to see some really good momentum come about from it (from fifteen, he started, and sixteen that’s when stuff started to really come together).
Right now he’s working with a couple of big companies in the dating market. He’s working with product launches, as well as sales, and copy writing. He’s writing copy for different funnels, and improving conversion rates. He has improved their upsell five times, which is a really good result (he got the information from Google analytics).
He’s also doing some work with some big guys, and helping them do some product launches: for a couple of books, and video courses coming out.
The first thing Chris would do, if he was just starting out, would be to watch my YouTube channel, as well as just starting something. He’s seen that many people procrastinate, because they don’t have a purpose, and they don’t know what to do with themselves.

  • How To Stop Dabbling, Cure Procrastination And Succeed In Business

I have spent my first 2 years in business dabbling. I have tried so many different business models, but I failed. Any of these business models would have worked, but I did not commit to them fully. As a result, I made a loss in my first 2 years in business.
There are entrepreneurs who implement a business model successfully, but when they see that there are more successful entrepreneurs who have a different business model, they decide to try their business model.
Entrepreneurs are tempted with business models with easier delivery. If someone is a beginner and tries 2 business models at the same time, he might end up making less money than if he sticks to his main business.
This is a form of procrastination. Instead of fixing the issues in the first business and scaling the main business to 7-figures and beyond, they start a second business. The reason for that is because they have heard that they need to build multiple income streams.
The reality is that the first $50K a month in your business is not an income stream. It is just an ordinary month in your business. This is not the time to dabble. It’s the time to focus on this business model. You should implement all the lessons and scale the business.
If you jump from one business to the next, you will never develop this deep understanding of sales, project management, how to hire really smart people and keep them interested in what you are doing.
The solution is to focus on a single business model. Commit to it, invest money into it and scale it to 7 – figures and beyond. The first business model has to be simple where you implement what is proven to work.
Once you have learnt skills like marketing, sales, team building, lead generation, you can start a second business where you can do something more extraordinary, something that is more automated.
I would not recommend starting with those more automated business models, because they require serious investment capital. Unless you have a partner who you can share a percentage of your company, it is unlikely for you to start making hundreds and thousands of dollars.
Early businesses are less likely to be explosive because of lack of capital and skills. Once you build a low capital and low skilled business model, then you can start a more explosive business model and invest in something that is easier to grow really fast.
That is how you can prevent dabbling and succeed in business.

It is completely different to be an entrepreneur now vs 6 years ago. Being an online entrepreneur is 2012 was very scary. You are alone by yourself, because very few people were doing it back then. There were barely any online communities.
I was walking down the streets alone and there was almost no one who can speak English. I had to figure out how to interact with people.
In 2012, I was all alone by myself and it took me a lot of time to figure things out and to learn how business works. It took me 4 years to start traveling while running a business. On the other hand, Nicolas, who is a member of Daily Business Hustle started traveling almost from day one.
I had a shitty laptop with very bad internet connection and was desperately trying to get clients to pay me some money. There was barely any mobile internet connection, so you had no plan B if the main Internet went down.
It was very hard to do anything 6 years ago. Everything was bureaucracy, paper, signing stuff and so on. Whereas, right now, 20-year old guy are jumping online, join communities where everything is already figured out. They build an online business and travel the world. You can get help from everywhere.
If something gets stolen or gets broken, you just make more sales and buy a new one. But, 6 years ago I would not imagine what I was going to do if something happened to my laptop. I could not afford a new one.
Things have changed. Don’t listen to people to go to university, get a job and all this stuff. That is a thing of the past. Join online communities, get more clients, get more sales and travel the world while running an online business.

I have received a question from Phil, a member of our audience, and his question is: ‘there seems to be too many people in niche markets, and too many promoting stuff online. I think it’s better to go to local shops, and increase their sales, what do you think?’
My view is that there are not enough people promoting niche markets: online marketing is growing at a tremendous rate, and with more and more products coming online every single day, that means there’s opportunity. It doesn’t mean there are too many people; it just means there’s an opportunity.
People wouldn’t be doing it, if there wasn’t any money in it. I wouldn’t be doing it, if there wasn’t any money in it. For me, I’m in one of the most competitive markets in the world, and after week two, even though I’d only just started my business, I still managed to make a significant amount of money.
It’s the same for my master mind members, they start from scratch, and they build their business to five, six, seven figure business, even though they sell stuff like websites. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone has a website, and the market is huge, the opportunities are huge.
The same goes for fitness coaching, there are a lot of fitness coaches out there, but the market is not overly saturated. Most of the fitness coaches out there have terrible marketing (no offence), and they’re not charging as much as they could be, and their business isn’t producing results.
Whereas I know plenty of people who are producing results in my niche: delivering websites in fitness coaching, and in everything else.
