  • How To Do Direct Marketing (Direct Marketing Tips)
Here are my top 3 favorite direct marketing techniques that you can implement in your business.
“Want to connect on facebook? Add me on Facebook:
    http://www.facebook.com/aleksander.vitkin
    Follow me on Instagram: @aleksvitkin”
Today we are going to talk about direct marketing and my best lessons that I have learned in the last eight years of doing marketing.
The first thing that you need to know when starting with direct marketing is that most companies do direct marketing by asking some other companies to promote their own stuff in Instagram or in YouTube.”
That is a big mistake, because they do not build their own list, they just say: “Tell them to buy this now”, instead of getting their email address and keep sending them offers forever.”
Why is that such a big mistake? Most people will not buy immediately. Some will buy, but most will not buy on the first try. That is why you should build a list.
In internet marketing there is something called affiliate marketing and affiliate marketing sometimes gets a bad name. Here is why!
Lots of people in affiliate marketing promote whatever that makes them the most amount of money, they just find an offer that has the highest earnings per click and they promote that, they do not care about the quality or about the audience.
The problem with that is, it`s good for a short term, in fact very profitable for a short term, but for a long term, you are making the audience not trust you anymore. The only thing that you have as a marketer is trust basically.
The client that keeps coming back to you for twenty - thirty purchases is much more valuable than the person who buys just one. It is much easier to nurture an existing relationship than to get a new client, to get a new relationship.
The next thing I want to talk about is long content. There is short content like small emails and stuff like that.
However, if you make YouTube videos, a long blog post and you make long content, what happens there is, it`s an other certain type of person that has the attention to listen to you and likes the content. Those people tend to be better customers, spend more money, because they already know your stuff from watching so much content. They have invested their time into your stuff so much, that they are more likely to take additional steps, like buying from you.
So you should start developing some content, some marketing messages that are longer. If you have a sales video, try longer sales video to sell that super expensive item or product.
Another thing you should pay attention to is that people will not buy your most expensive stuff from day 1. It is better to start off with something cheaper instead of going with the $200 product.
It is necessary these days to prove what you are worth with a cheap product. And then you can go ahead and make a profit. The biggest companies do not make profit from the first 2 – 3 products that they sell, they make profit in the long run after a few months of selling to the same list, to the same people. That is how you build a huge list fast and then monetize and make millions of dollars instead of trying to make it quickly and earn just a few hundreds of dollars.
The next thing that I like to focus on is developing my voice. What does this mean? It is actually a lot of the things that you spend time thinking about and focusing on – the ideas, the concepts and values that you represent.
When people read your emails, your blog post, you should have your voice in their head and even if they hear some certain phrases, they should have your voice in their head. They should attribute that to you, that is what you should develop, that is called your voice.
Even if you hire people, if you train them for several months to be able to write as if they are you. You can not do this super quickly. It may take a serious amount of time to research and make sure if the content sounds like you.

  • 4 Crucial Cold Calling Sales Techniques
Here are 4 cold calling sales techniques you need in your business if you sell products or services to companies.
“Want to connect on facebook? Add me on Facebook:
    http://www.facebook.com/aleksander.vitkin
    Follow me on Instagram: @aleksvitkin”
Today we are going to talk about cold calling companies to sell them services and products, so you can generate sales on the phone without having the need to learn marketing, sales.
This is something that most people and most companies do not have the balls to do it, because they want to develop this fancy marketing strategy from day one, instead of picking up the phone and doing what it takes without having a budget.
Marketers will gladly tell you that you need to have a fancy funnel, fancy Facebook ads and spend thousands of dollars even though you are just starting out to grow your business.
I can tell you that it is not necessarily the case. It certainly will help if you have the money for that, but if you are starting from zero, then cold calling is a very good place to start.
The first tip that I have for you today, if you are going to do cold calling in your business, is to research who you are actually calling. A lot of people just find a random phone number from any company and they call them and talk to the secretary.
What I used to do when I did cold calling for about four years is I went on the companies` websites and researched their structure. So when I called them I wasn`t completely clueless as to who to talk to.
If you end up talking to decision makers, then of course you need to know more about the company, you need to tell them something connected to their business.
You need to validate the fact that they would even buy something from you. If you can`t determine if they are going to buy from you, then you are wasting your time. You cannot read their minds, so you need to make a research by calling. In the beginning, what I generally comment, it is not to call to do sales, it is to call to make a market research.
You also need to get to know the people, to establish relationships with them, so spend hours for small companies, days for larger companies, weeks or months for really big companies to get to know them.
It is better to know these people personally, not just talk about business all the time, but also who this actual human being is. Because just befriending one of them, who has control, he knows everyone. He will connect you with anyone you know if you need that.
Do not settle on your first idea of what kind of companies you are going to call because you do not really know, you need to spread the net a little bit wider to find out what kind of people do you actually want to do business with.
Do not be afraid of changing directions while doing this research. You have to make these decisions early on while exploring the markets but once you find a good market, stick to it as much as possible. Later on it will be much harder to change things.
You are looking to make not hundreds but thousands phone calls. It sounds like a lot but keep in mind a lot of people don`t want even talk to you, so it is not thousands hours of phone calls, but thousands phone calls.
Eventually it is going to reach thousand of hours, but that is going to take many months. But you need thousands of phone calls to get results of cold calling. If you want to start a kind of company that has long term success, then follow the steps that I have given you.
Finally, you need to establish and find out when they will actually buy and they need to tell you when they are ready to invest the amount of money that you are looking for. You need to help the companies to determinate, weeks or months in advance, when they are going to have the money to invest in your venture.
Once you have all of that, they can contain you and close off the sale.

  • 5 Social Media Tips To Make Money On Social Media
Here's how to get sales using social media.
“Want to connect on facebook? Add me on Facebook:
    http://www.facebook.com/aleksander.vitkin
    Follow me on Instagram: @aleksvitkin”
In this podcast we are going to find out how to make more money with social media. This podcast is for you if you are just starting out and you don`t know how to get started on social media or you already have a brand or a social media account with lost of followers or if you are doing it for your clients.
The first thing you should do is to go look at your competitors and find out what people are actually talking about, reacting to and commenting on the most. So go to a Facebook page of one of your top competitors and find out what are people most interested in, what is the biggest discussion. These are the topics that you are going to be focused on on your social media.
Then you do the channel specific for Facebook like 3 to 5 posts per day on those types of topics and then you have that going. Now you need to build your audience. This is not the easiest thing, but it is also not too complicated. You can buy an audience, you pay Facebook for Facebook likes, or you network and you make sure that people promote your page or you need to cheat the system.
The easiest way is just to pay for Facebook likes. So once you have the initial audience and you have the content that they react to that they engage with, what do you do then?
That really depends on the platform, but let`s focus on Facebook because that is still the biggest one, the most important platform. In Facebook you need the best possible images, Facebook is not just images, there is more going on, but the number one thing on Facebook is still images.
If you can find the most motivational, most engaging images that are very pretty with really good content on them, that is going to get your page or group to grow. How do you do that? What you can do is to find the kinds of background images that resonate with people the most. I found that nature, really nice landscapes, animals, sports and famous entrepreneurs are the things people are most attracted to.
Then as for the content, there is a very simple formula to follow. You need to give them room to reply, so ask them to reply, you need to throw stones at the enemies, encourage their dreams and forgive their mistakes. If you do those things you will find that content becomes more engaging and people like your content more.
Now you need to flood them with your reviews and other proof that what you are doing actually works. What this does is that they become curious and they are like “Oh, it`s awesome, you are getting awesome results for others and your business is actually working. Maybe I should find out more.” Then you need to make sure that they are clicking on the links, find out some kind of offer, some kind of promotion that people click on.
Once you have that, then you can actually send them to a sales page or an optin so that they can get on a phone call. Then you can sale to them. This is huge because most companies are just like: “I built this audience and my brand is getting out there.” But they are not monetizing, they are not doing the testing to see if people click and then actually taking the offer. That is super important, because that is what is going to actually bring you money and not just likes and engagement.
Most companies tend to freak out when they get a negative comment. What I recommend is engage the negative comments in a private chat and in a result get to know that issues or prospects those clients have. They can become your most raving fans. Do not just delete, it does not really contribute to your business as much as a raving fan.

  • How To Start A Business If You Have A Job 80 Hours A Week
What should you do if you work 80 hours per week and want to start a business. Find out in this podcast.
“Want to connect on facebook? Add me on Facebook:

Have you ever thought that you can contribute more to the world than you are contributing at your job? Can you get more of life than you are getting now?
I have this awesome idea that I want to implement, but there is one big problem that I have a full time job. Have you ever thought that to yourself? You have all these great ideas, but you have a full time job that is eating up 60/80 hours per week. You are stuck, because you do not have time to build that business, so that you can get out of the job.
In this podcast you are going to find out how to solve that problem. How to build a business even if you are working 60 or 80 hours per week?
It is completely possible. I have worked with dozens of people who have done that. You can do it if you follow some of these rules that I am going to give you.
Cut down the time you spend in traffic. I have talked with many entrepreneurs who told me that they spend 2 hours per day in traffic, which is half of the time you need to get initial business off the ground.
If you just move somewhere near to the office, near to your job, so you spend only 15 minutes per day in traffic, then how much time you will save per week? It is worth doing in a lot of cases.
I have seen people going from 2 hour commutes to 15 minutes commutes and they were able to leverage that time to quit their job eventually.
I had one job and it was really tempting to spend my money on for example new clothes, when I did not need new clothes. I was motivated to spend the money early when I got it and for the rest of the month I did not have that much money left.
If you do that, you will never be able to avoid that rat race, because you get into debt, you go into this pay off cycle. You can never get out of the job, because you always need the job. Otherwise, you are going to be bankrupt and who knows what happens then.
If you are working an average job for 60/80 hours per week, then you must have some money. They must be paying you quite well.
If you have some disposable money, then you can invest some of it to hire people from Philipines, South America. You can hire them to do small parts of the future business or the startup that you are starting right now.
For example, you do not have time to build a list of companies that you are going to email or call. However, if you hire someone and when you are at work they will do all the work for you. Then you are leveraging your money into someone else’s time who helps you build your business early on in it’s developments.
My next tip is a little bit more controversial. If you want to be an entrepreneur and if you are serious about it, not just a side income, but a real full time entrepreneur, there are a lot of hour at weekends that you have to utilize to build that business. Even if you work just 8 hours per day at weekends you will have plenty of time to relax after that.
You will not be able to go out on Friday night or have a crazy sleeping schedule. Your sleeping schedule needs to be on point. You have to find other ways for relaxing and going out to clubs and going crazy with alcohol. If you figure that and have a workable schedule for the weekends, then you can do a lot of work at weekends and you will have plenty of time to relax as well.
The next step is to go into freelancing. Just go to Upwork.com, freelancer.com and get hired as a freelancer. It is going to help you replace some of the income that you are getting from your job.
As the income from your freelancing work is increasing, you will need to have the amount of time at your job decreased.
