ALIEN THEORISTS THEORIZING

While New Mexico may claim they have the singular UFO Capital of the World at Roswell, another U.S. State boasts they have 3 UFO Capitals of the World within their borders. The residents of Dundee, Elmwood, and Bellville Wisconsin, would tell you that UFOs have visited their towns in the recent past and left a long lasting legacy. With 3 separate locations that host annual festivals dedicated to UFOs, and an unofficial “UFO Landing Spot”, Wisconsin is not short of UFO lore. As Wisconsin is one of the biggest producers of dairy products in the U.S., it’s not surprising that one of its strangest UFO encounters involved a dairy farmer from Polk County in 1952. His encounter would make a splash in the local newspapers and even be investigated by the precursor organization of today’s MUFON. This case file, join the Theorists as they milk an extraterrestrial encounter of the bovine kind for all its worth in…The Bosak UFO Encounter

The Kelly-Hopkinsville UFO encounter is easily one of the most terrifying reports of interactions with extraterrestrial creatures. An entire family claimed to have had their home assaulted by 3-4 foot entities that resembled nothing from planet Earth. No photographic evidence was taken of the encounter and so all that it left is the testimony of those who were involved in the case. While most encounters with UFOs and their supposed pilots are often brief and leave the participants with nothing in the way of definitive physical evidence of their encounter, there is one piece of little-known photographic evidence that has yet to be disproven. On December 1, 1987, Philip Spencer had the luck to capture, on film, a strange creature he said approached him during his morning walk to another nearby village in Yorkshire, England. The photo would go on to be analyzed and pored over by experts who were unable to definitively state if this was some type of hoax or if it was actual evidence of an extraterrestrial encounter. Puma Punku is a monumental structure complex that sits high above on the Andes plateau. Constructed sometime during the 5th or 6th century AD large slabs that form gateways and curiously cut stones are all that remain of this once wondrous construction. Local legends from the native people of Bolivia still revere Puma Punku as the place where the world began. Another legend, held by the native Shuar people of Ecuador, places the birthplace of humanity within a system of caves set within the Andes mountains. Since the 1960’s explorers of these caves have reported finding treasure troves of gold and mysterious artifacts within the extensive system of caverns. In 1976 a well provisioned and well staffed expedition set out to locate the source of these reports. They’re primary concern was a set of metal plaques and sheets, said to be among the treasures, that may have had printed on them the history of a previously unknown advanced civilization. On December 10, 1946 one of the worst aviation disasters in U.S. history occurred on the slopes of Mt. Rainier. Six transport planes departed from San Diego, California en route to Seattle carrying between them more than 200 U.S. Marines. While flying over southwestern Washington, the aircraft all encountered heavy weather and were forced to navigate solely by instruments. Only 1 of the 6 aircraft actually made it to the Seattle airport which had been their destination. 4 had turned back and landed in Portland while the last transport vanished. A two week search over air and ground turns up nothing. The military offers up a $5000 reward for information regarding the wrecked plane. In June of that year, while flying around Mt. Rainier in search of the wreckage, one man would sight something much more unusual than a downed aircraft. He would have an encounter that would, as some might argue, kicked off the age of modern UFO sightings. Buried within the histories of West Virginia, is the story of Elva Zona Heaster-Shue. A woman who was found dead in late January of 1897. Not an unusual occurrence, by itself, but weeks later her mother would claim to receive a message from her dearly departed daughter, that her death was anything but natural. What followed was one woman’s quest for justice with specific knowledge gained from an apparition that led to the trial and conviction of the person who was truly responsible for her untimely death. A singular event within the legal realm, where testimony from a ghost was put on the stand and taken as evidence. This case file, join the Theorists as they take the country roads back to the place of avenging Appalachian apparitions in…The Greenbrier Ghost
