This podcast is from a question from one of you - asking about how to get into the habit of eating intuitively. How to stay in the mindset of eating intuitively by checking in with yourself BUT also not thinking about food all of the time.
In this episode, I cover: some nuances of intuitive eating (IE), the difference between IE and mindful eating, and daily strategies to become more mindful and connected without overthinking it.
There is a lot of context to be brought into this conversation and it can be deeply personal. Which is why I'm launching a small group experience at the end of this month.
If you'd like support from me on developing an intuitive eating lifestyle plus the support of other people, visit www.realigncommunity.com and move through the process faster and with ease. We have 8 spots left and start June 28th.
Did you know that we have 4 types of hunger? Maybe you don't but are intrigued with all the different needs we have to meet. Maybe you wonder how to stop feeling hungry all the time? Or are you worried if you really let yourself eat, you'll never stop?
This episode is for you if you want a deep dive on hunger, emotions, meal planning, and satisfaction with eating.
Hunger can be extremely personal. If you want professional help and support sorting it out, inquire to work with me here: https://alignednutrition.com/contact/
It's not uncommon to reach a point in your journey of allowing all foods, honoring your hunger, and no longer restricting food intake BUT still eating past fullness.
Overeating feels uncomfortable, defeating, and frustrating. You can't stop here.
You have to keep going so that you can really gain confidence and trust that YOU can also be free and at ease with all foods.
Re-calibrating our fullness is a necessary part of the process.
I'm talking about this on the podcast because it's a typical sticking point in recovery or healing your relationship to food. It is a very individualized process and this is something I work closely with clients on. If you'd like to become a client of mine, inquire to work with me via the link in the show notes.
Would you like to learn how to distinguish fullness and overeating for yourself? It's a big part of the journey and it's a must to go from "working on it" to "totally free" and this is something I work with clients on. Inquire to work with me here: https://alignednutrition.com/contact/
If you are healing your relationship with food and find exercise doesn't feel aligned, this episode is for you. It's no secret that exercise and our relationship with it is often damaged through dieting, disordered eating, and eating disorders. What you may not realize is that it's possible to draw analogies to intuitive eating and movement. In this episode we discuss what intuitive exercise means and how to leverage healing your relationship to food as a strength.
Our guest Nyla is a Certified Health and Life Coach trained in habit and mindset change, also holding a Food and Nutrition Diploma and a host of fitness instructor certifications, who coaches through an Intuitive Eating and Intuitive Movement perspective.

Our guest Dr. Heather Finley is a Registered Dietitian with a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition and a Certified Eating Disorder Dietitian.
