I have a mystery guest hopefully next week. She is currently living in Perth, Australia, and holds 2 records. Today's episode we recap this season which is becoming the most fatal season ever on Mt. Everest with an estimated number of 17 possible deaths. During the Spring 2023 season, there were a record number of permits. And as usual, there were problems with trash, crowding, and even theft.
I apologize for being sick. Bronchitus sucks and I may have had too much "cough medicine". :)

Since 2022, 323 people have died on Mt. Everest. And this year may become one of the deadliest ones. In this podcast episode, I discuss death on Everest. What causes death on Everest? How many people have died on Everest? What happens when you die on Mt. Everest?

Today's episode is all about the documentaries that came out in 2022 and are being released in 2023, about Mt. Everest. I talk a little bit about the interviews I have coming up with Jason Black and Alex Harz and what to expect on this season of the podcast.
Just a quick recap of the Spring 2022 Everest Climbing Season and excitement for the 2023 season. How will 2022 affect 2023? There was some controversy last year that hopefully won't trickle into this year's climbing season. Bring it on 2023!!!
Season 2 of this podcast is on!!!!! I am so excited to be back for another season. I have tons of stuff to share, including coverage for the 2023 Everest season. I also want to thank all of my awesome listeners. This podcast started last year on a whim and we've hit over 20,000 listeners with less than 20 episodes.
So here's to an exciting new season.

Glad to be back podcasting after a crazy 2 months hiatus. Today's episode is with Ellis Stewart, author of "Everest: It's Not About the Summit". It is a fun and heartful interview, very candid, and I had a blast interviewing him. Ellis is a really great guy and easy to chat with, and has a very unique Everest story. Ellis also created the Everest Dream Facebook community that bring Everest enthusiasts together to create an online community.
