As a Florida Gator gymnast, Leah Clapper competed on bars, beam, and floor, earned All-American honors on the balance beam, and was the 2021 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Her love for flipping began as a toddler. Her coaches worked hard to “not kill the love” and created a training schedule to prioritize enjoyment and personal growth. She also learned how to face fear using it to develop strength and experience success.
When the new NIL era came into effect, she tapped into her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit jumping into brand sponsorships which motivated her to start NIL Island, a community for student-athletes who want to get better at NIL.
Lean highlights her mindset and intentional process to “have fun, compete freely, get perfect 10’s and win championships.”
