In Paul's letter to the Galatians he reminds of them of the gifts of living in the spirit as sons and daughters of God. He reminds them, and us that our old self has been crucified - it dies on the cross - and now we have the ability to live as in the spirit - with the fruit of the spirit!

Psalm 19:12-13 describes spiritual blind spots as "Unintentional sins" and "hidden faults." Sometimes we are just not ready to face them. Sometimes we know they are there and ignore them. Sometimes we just don't know we are acting out of alignment with God.

BUT we can ask. We can ask God to show us, to bring these sins to our attention and help us to rectify them.

God wants to cleanse us fully and completely, melting a way every spec of sin that separates us from Him. 

As we continue to read Psalm 19, this verse reminds us that what we say - especially what we say to ourselves can make a great impact on our heart condition. As we lean on God to be our source, he is our rock -which means we have a solid foundation. And He is our redeemer, which means that we are set free because of the price Jesus paid for us on the cross.

It's great news indeed!
