Access Reproductive Care Southeast
A trigger law banning nearly all abortions, with no exceptions for rape or incest, takes effect 30 days from the Supreme Court’s decision. The state attorney general has filed an emergency motion to ban abortion in Tennessee immediately.

Abortion is banned after six weeks. In 2020, the House legislature introduced a bill that would sue anyone who “knowingly engages in conduct that aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion” for a minimum of $10,000.
