  • Called – Guest Speaker
We welcomed Phillip Close to the pulpit again as we celebrated Father's day! As parents, we’re called to lead in faith and nurture our children to grow closer to God through us as their example. The Bible has a lot of text for parents, and especially men as they lead. Our goal is to lead our families and raise our children to desire God by putting him above everything this world has to offer.

  • The End – I Am Coming Soon
One of the most important themes of Revelation is for us to be ready. Jesus instructed us to know the signs of His return and to make sure we were ready for the moment He puts everything in motion for His eventual comeback. Revelation ends with Jesus once again proclaiming that He is coming soon so we better be ready. We will finish our time in Revelation by understanding how Jesus expects us to be living in expectation of His inevitable return.

  • The End – Kingdom Come
King Solomon proclaimed that God “has set eternity in the human heart” (Ecclesiastes 3:11) which means that in every human soul there is the awareness that there is something more than just this world. That something else is the Kingdom of God which Jesus calls us to pray and long for with eager expectation. Jesus did not leave us in the dark on what it will be like when His Kingdom is unleashed. God concludes His revelation and His Holy Scripture with a glimpse of our eternal promise and home.

  • The End – Millennium & Judgement
At the end of tribulation, once Jesus has triumphantly returned, it is finally time for him to establish his earthly kingdom. This is the moment that Israel has been waiting for since the time of David and is the last act before the new heavens and new earth.

  • The End – The Wrath of God
As we continue looking at the future judgment of the world - through the eyes of John - we see the rise of Satan's unholy Trinity and his schemes to destroy Israel and the church. And we see the final judgments that God pours out on the world before Jesus returns as the conquering king.
At his return - Jesus will sit on the Great White Throne to judge the living and the dead. It will be a time of great rejoicing for those whose name is written in the lamb's book of life...and of great torment and tragedy for those who haven't trusted Jesus.

  • The End – Your Kingdom Come
We don't have to look around very much to see that in this world, evil seems to be winning. No matter where you look - tragedy, pain and suffering seem to be lurking around the corner. But - that isn't what God created - instead it is a byproduct of sin in the world. And there is coming a future day when God will judge sin and evil with finality - destroying it forever.
That's the moment that Jesus ushers in when he opens the scroll - beginning to bring judgement against the sin in the world.
