Rape, Abuse, Murder, Adultery, and the list goes on. Whenever a proclaimed Christian falls and commits the most heinous sin [crime] we tend to question the integrity of Jesus. God should be powerful and good, and if he's good He would do better, right? In this episode, we talk about who really is the hypocrite and the cost that comes with the freedom of choice.

Are you investing 10 minutes into a comment that took 10 seconds? Are you exchanging your time for cheap criticism? In this episode, we address the importance of understanding the power of our exchange for criticism that costs nothing. Jon Acuff writes criticism that costs nothing is worth nothing. In other words, don't waste your breath on a critique that has no value. Hard to do, but imperative in walking this thing called life.

Do you believe you are living life intentionally? Are you also incorporating a ministry mindset in your day-to-day walk? In this bonus episode, Drew and Gretchen Blomstrom, owners of Synergos Farm, shares their journey of losing it all after Hurricane Harvey, and their perspective shift on what living life intentionally doing ministry actually should look like. They encourage listeners to see the value in full-time ministry starting when you say "Yes" to Jesus versus having a ministerial title. Ministry begins at home and for many of us, that's in our prayer closet. What we do behind closed doors is preparation for living life intentionally doing ministry.

Do you find it difficult to be grateful? Do you find it difficult to be thankful? I sure have. In this episode, I share how our septic blew up and life was just a tad bit crappy (pun intended).
Alright, our septic didn't actually blow up, but we were having quite of bit of hits back to back and Jesus gently reminded me to remember His goodness and to shift my attitude.
The only way I was able to do that was to implement daily my list of gratitude. In the words of my eldest brother, Zebedee, Gratitude changes the lens through which we see the circumstances in our little slice of time...despite broken dreams, broken relationships, chaotic circumstances, and unfulfilled longings.

It's very simple. Do your research.
In this episode, I belabor on the time I was thoroughly embarrassed for sharing something that was not quite the truth. Before we start sharing, use wisdom, do your research, and don't give the clickbait masters what they want - your lack of reading and understanding of the full truth.

We are back in full swing with Season 3. What better way to start off the season than diving into the 7 deadly sins? In this episode, I break down what Proverbs 6:16-19 states are the sins that the Lord hates and even finds detestible. We know these as lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride. How do we fight the urge of these sins? How do we say no? All that and more, is discussed in this episode.
