All Things Faith Walk

You might have asked God into your heart, but your life is in no way a reflection of the “Join the Jesus Team” brochure. Perhaps you’ve been married and remarried and have raised kids, but never qualified for Mother of the Year. You may even have repented over and over for the same sin, only to find yourself crawling back to God with a face full of tears each time. Listen to how God have used someone just like you. The church has created a false/hypocritical environment that sends an erroneous nonverbal message that if we show that we are hurt, we are spiritually weak or we don't have faith. In this episode I remind you that we are all humans and if we are injured physically, we hurt. Similarly, if we are injured emotionally we hurt. You get the permission to hurt here but I caution you to deal with the hurt and seek healing from your Heavenly Father so that you do not become unforgiving. Hurt is different from unforgiveness. Hurt is not a sin. It's OK to hurt.
