The Red Sox make a splash with their first major move of the offseason. Sonny Gray, multi-time Cy Young nominated pitcher, will be joining the 2026 Red Sox.

In return, the Red Sox have sent Richard Fitts and Brandon Clark to the Cardinals, along with absorbing half of Sonny Gray's remaining salary. To think, even after all this time, Chaim Bloom is still helping the Red Sox.
