Democratic Congressman Greg Casar held a "thirst strike" on the steps of the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday to protest a Texas law critics say will override local ordinances such as mandatory water breaks. The "thirst strike" was a measly nine hours long, and the congressman is being hailed as a hero by fellow Democrats including the great football player Joe Biden. Speaking of football, Minnesota Golden Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck defended himself for supposedly running a "toxic" program.
