Welcome back everyone to another edition of American Real. This week we are talking everything nutrition with our featured guest, Molly Morgan. Molly is a registered dietitian and has a diverse background when it comes to nutrition. She wrote three books providing secrets to a healthy diet along with over a hundred recipes for meals and smoothies. In addition, Molly is a sports dietitian and for more than a decade has worked with professional athletes. She also specializes in corporate wellness, explaining the importance of companies supporting a healthy workplace. Then, we discuss topics such as intermittent fasting, the benefits of a plant-based diet, what to cook at home for children, sugar, alcohol and much more. Molly gives us a glimpse into her personal regimen along with her passion for her family, running, drawing and piano.
On this week’s show, we bring you the fascinating story of Ronald Benjamin, who went from being a teenage outlaw and spending time in prison, to eventually passing the bar becoming Attorney at Law. It was the guidance of an English teacher at Green Haven Correctional Facility that pushed for him to attend college, and for Ron, it was the best decision he's ever made. For more than 40 years, he’s practiced law in the State of New York as a general practitioner, advocating tirelessly for his clients. Ron discusses his take on jury selection, his empathy for minorities, as well as the overall fairness with the justice system.
