The big announcement was the jewels are still missing and so are two of the robbery suspects! The state of Florida continues its record setting year of 14 executions and counting, with number 15 scheduled for Tuesday, October 28th. In an unusual move, 65-year-old Norman Grim has chosen not to fight tomorrow’s scheduled lethal injection for the 1998 rape and murder of his next door neighbor.  Meantime, in Tennessee, a lawsuit challenging the state’s lethal injection method, claims the August 5th execution of Byron Black was botched, his autopsy showing sustained cardiac activity 2 minutes after he was pronounced dead, with his final words “It’s hurting so bad."

A tragic story in the world of chess, as 29-year-old Chess Grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky was found dead this week at his home in Charlotte. As of this recording, there is no official cause of death, but late this week police acknowledged they were investigating his death as a possible drug overdose/suicide. Meantime, much of the chess world is pointing fingers at 50-year-old former chess World Champion, Vladimir Kramnik who has viciously, repeatedly and baselessly accused Naroditsky of cheating over the years. The International Chess Federation announced it was investigating Kramnik for his public comments before and after Naroditsky’s death, but many say it’s too little, too late.

This week, we all see the unimaginable happen while cameras are rolling for the hit tv series “Ghost Adventures”. Star Aaron Goodwin is hunting ghosts on location, when he receives a phone call from police, who tell him they are at his home, arresting his wife for arranging his murder. That moment is included in the latest episode of “Ghost Adventures” on a week where Goodwin has given his fans an update on his impending divorce, and an honest response about how he is doing, just months after his soon to be ex wife was sentenced to at least 3 years behind bars.
