In a bizarre turn of events, President Trump announced that Park Police have arrested “multiple individuals” for vandalizing the Reflecting Pool on the National Mall. Prosecutors have charged a Chicago college student with hate crimes, arson, damage to property, disorderly conduct and reckless conduct after Merlin Liu admitted to burning a cross in Grant Park.
