The message that is left embedded in your soul coming through childhood trauma is fear. Fear of being hurt. Fear of trusting. Fear of the unknown and fear of the known.
But, fear is a liar.

Every 68 seconds, an American is s*xually assaulted. And every 9 minutes, that victim is a child. Only about 20% of children who are abused ever disclose. Only 25 out of every 1,000 perpetrators will end up in prison.
