The Oregon beat writer covered Auburn for six seasons, including Gus Malzahn's first five as head coach, and is entering his second season covering Mario Cristobal and the Ducks. It just so happens No. 11 Oregon faces No. 16 Auburn in the marquee game of Week 1 of the college football season, so Brandon Marcello reached out to his former colleague to discuss the game and also reminisce about their days together covering the Tigers.
