In this sermon, we come to a text that tells us about the righteous and the wicked during the time immediately preceding the flood. Both groups teach us important lessons for life and how to live for the glory of God. The two groups we will encounter in our text are indicative of any time in history or any church.

From Gen. 4:9-15 I want to show you six different responses between the Lord and Cain, so that you can be reminded that God is a God of great mercy and grace, even to the vilest of sinner, which should make you love and praise Him even more.

From Gen. 4:1-8 I would like to point out seven pairs of like-truths from our text, so that we can learn why the world and mankind are the way they are and be reminded of why everyone needs the grace of God in Christ Jesus if we hope to give our Creator glory and escape judgment.
