From Gen. 14:18-20 I want to look at two interesting facts about Melchizedek that relate to Abraham, to Jesus Christ, and all of us, so that we can be encouraged and praise and glorify God.

What is a wife to do when her husband is disobedient to the Word? How can she respond in a God glorifying way while submitting to her husband? What are her options? In this sermon, we are going to look at Abraham, an example of a disobedient husband, and seek to better understand the biblical response a wife can take when her husband is in rebellion against the Word of God.

My goal in this sermon is to have you consider three different categories of information that are related to the biblical covenants, so you can understand how Gen. 12:1-3 and related texts, directly impact your life, if you have repented of your sin and placed your faith in Jesus Christ to save you from the consequences of your sin.

From Gen. 12:1-3 I want to point out two things: the promises imbedded in the Abrahamic Covenant and also the unconditional nature of the Abrahamic covenant, so that in later messages, you can better understand how believers in Christ Jesus are able to partake in the covenant that God made with Abraham some 4,000 years ago.

What is a covenant? What is a theological covenant? What is a biblical covenant? What is covenant theology? What is a bilateral or unilateral covenant? What covenant to Israel is the foundation for all others?

Upon hearing those questions, if what comes to your mind is a blank, no information, nothing on file in your brain, I hope to remedy that this evening as we do a quick overview of the covenants in an attempt to give you the big picture and general information about covenants for our closer consideration of the Abrahamic Covenant in the weeks to come.

What happens when we forget our true riches in Christ, take our eyes off the Lord, and envy the wicked? In this sermon, we are going to find out as we take a look at Psalm 73 and learn how to worship the Holy One when the wicked prosper.

From Gen. 12-25 I want to point out to you 4 characteristics of Abraham’s life to encourage you in your walk with the Lord to give glory to God by following Abraham’s example.

From Gen. 11 we will first look at the sin of the people of Babel, second, we will see how God responded to their sin, and finally, we will consider Shem’s line so we better understand how the Messianic line continued after the flood.
