I chop it up with Big Bear Radio from Stereo about the Chauvin Trial. We go deep in this episode.

 I was really upset to hear testimony from The trial where people were questioning you know what was in George Floyd's system you know was he a drug addict did he really die from suffocation or was it the drugs I couldn't believe that. He died cuz a guy had his knee on his neck for 9 minutes. I was appalled to learn that one of the expert witnesses testifying in the case was a "use of force" specialist from my hometown Santa Rosa named Barry Brodd. 

This guy did not think excessive force was used and what makes this more shocking is that Barry Brody trains officers in use of force. He used to train officers right out of the academy at the Santa Rosa Junior college and he now runs an a company called BVB associates. This is part of the problem is that this guy and also the woman who shot Dante wright are training officers.

 The woman that shot Dante wright was a 26 year veteran on the force and was actually training a rookie officer when she shot Dante wright. This is the problem we have the wrong people training the police. We also need to end internal investigations you do not put the fox in charge of the hen house. We need to conduct more vigorous psychological testing so that we root out bullies and people you know that might abused their power. 

Lastly I think we need to reform the entire way we police we need peace officers that are members of the community. I believe we should have social workers and people with counseling training and trained in de-escalation those should be the people that are dispatched first in 90% of the cases. Only when you need an armed big strong guy do you send out what we have now as our only solution.
