To create an offer that sells it must solve an important enough problem for your audience in a large enough market. Typically, this means helping someone in one of three different categories: health, wealth, or relationships.
In today’s episode, we explore these categories and the many, nuanced ways that your offer can solve a problem for your target audience — and how to make sure they know that!
We talk about the crowded marketplace, how niching down can help you find your audience, and we discuss how to tailor your offer to fit the aspirations you have for your business.
You’ll also learn about developing your own intellectual property and how you can hone and refine it to make it something that you can scale.
There’s a lot to consider when building your offer and there are so many ways that you can use marketing and research to get it to the perfect place.
Join us as we examine what to consider when putting together your offer and how to make sure that it solves an important problem!

Get your coffee or beverage of choice and prepare yourself for one of the most fascinating interviews we’ve done to date! Today we are joined on the show by Christina Langdon, a high-performance and success coach, here to share with us all about her 19 years of working with Martha Stewart.
She is an incredible storyteller, from start to finish, and shares the most interesting aspects of her journey working with Martha. Christina talks about the how, what, when, where, and why of her job(s) over the 19 years and recounts her very first (and lasting) encounter and impression of Martha.
She shares some anecdotal stories of her history with Martha and elaborates on why Martha really went to jail. Christina also describes the incredible comeback story of how the company managed to survive the charges, jail, and the mass advertising exodus. Our conversation then steers toward her decision to leave and ultimately founding her coaching business, along with some of the challenges she overcame in the journey toward where she is today.

A life spent outdoors as a farmer can be deeply rewarding. But it can also be financially precarious. No one knows this better than today’s guest, Charlotte Smith, a marketing and mindset coach for farmers, who, at age 14, watched their fifth-generation family farm go bankrupt and lose everything.
After swearing off farming as a young adult, Charlotte found herself drawn back into a world of outdoor work upon having children. She realized that she wanted them to experience the same freedoms she did growing up on a farm in the Oregon countryside and that she was willing to do whatever it took to make that a reality.
In today’s conversation with Charlotte, we learn about the strategies she used to ensure her farm would be profitable and how her results attracted the attention of other farmers leading to her work as a marketing and mindset coach.
She reflects on how her background in communications and marketing gave her the skills she needed to succeed in farming before elaborating on the needs of her clients and how she is helping each of them turn their farms into profitable businesses.
We also learn about Charlotte’s book, Farm Marketing from the Heart, the effort that went into writing it, and why she is so grateful to her past self for producing it.
For all of Charlotte’s perceptive insights, be sure to tune in to this comprehensive conversation on coaching, marketing, and how to succeed as a farmer!

Social media has ingrained itself in our daily lives with various platforms that cater for almost every single personality type. It seems strange, then, that Instagram would add yet another platform to the mix. Add to the fact that it is yet another unoriginal concept from the social media juggernaut, Meta.
Today, we discuss our biggest concerns about Meta, how thought-provoking conversations seem to be mysteriously disappearing from Meta’s platforms, why Threads is not worth the extra workload, and how Twitter users make it a platform of superior content compared to what you’ll find on Threads.
Ultimately, Threads seems to be missing the point, and its lack of direction and purpose is evident in its bland and banal experience.
We’re not using Threads, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. Before you do, however, ask yourself why you want to use the platform, and be very weary of diving into Threads if you can’t come up with an answer.

It’s undeniable. The number of people taking to social media to vent their frustrations and complain to unsuspecting brands is on the rise. Even more interesting is the reason why! The topic of today’s discussion takes a deep dive into what’s really happening when someone complains on social; more specifically when they complain on a paid, sponsored ad on the internet.
Join us as we explore what’s going on in the human brain when people rant about a brand in the comment section of a social media post. We take into consideration the fact that the internet is not free; someone is paying for it, somewhere, somehow.
We also encourage listeners to think more carefully about the content they consume on the internet and explain why we should look behind the wall of technology and acknowledge that there are real people on the other side.
