Andie Summers Show Podcast

This pandemic has put a damper on a number of people especially residents in nursing homes who are not allowed visitors.

That did not stop a woman named Nina Ambrose.  Her father was put into a nursing home because he was suffering from Alzheimer's disease in January.  2 months later, the lockdown meant she could not visit her dad, Roger.

She was then furloughed from her job so she applied to volunteer as an activities and events coordinator at her dad’s new place of living.

Since April, she has been doing around three shifts a week at the nursing home, and after each one she gets to visit her dad.

So sweet!

Today is National Fast Food Day.

This guy  is a modern day Noah but he doesn't have an ark... He uses his very own home instead.

As the Hurricane Delta was coming for Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula and headed directly to his house, Ricardo Pimentel herded hundreds of animals—including more than 300 dogs, numerous rabbits, chickens, and even a hedgehog—inside his home to shelter them from the storm. He said he does not care how dirty his house gets, he is just happy the animals are safe.

He took to social media asking help with supplies and get got just that!

If you watched the CMA's you probably noticed Miranda Lambert reaching into her purse, pulling out a bottle, pouring the liquid into her cup, and drinking it.  People are suspecting it was booze.  She is receiving backlash from people saying that she is cheap and/or lazy.  Little do people know that it's an open bar but you can't get up and get a drink once you sit.

We think she's a genius!  Have you ever been caught sneaking booze into a place you should not?
