He was a man way ahead of his time and a true visionary.

In a world now drowning in technical information we discuss how John had a remarkable ability to keep things simple, practical and above all effective.

John Jacobs was a human Trackman in the way he could diagnose what a player was doing by virtue of the ball flight.

Andrew shares some wonderful stories about John and the fact that he was above anything else just a genuinely good person.

He would always put the player first.

It was always about the player and what he or she needed to do to get better and never about John showing how much knowledge he had.

We also get the chance to go down memory lane and revisit some of Andrew’s experiences.

He shares a fascinating story about the ingredients to his success in the European Open at Walton Heath and how one single word made all the difference to his performance.

We also get the opportunity to talk about the great Sevvy Ballesteros and the incredible aura he had.

Andrew relates a story of just how intimidating the great man could be.
