Andy Cartier is the founder of Studio Cartier, a living materials design firm based in the Netherlands. Andy contributed to the momentous 'Mushroom Houses For Gaza' prototype of a sustainable shelter constructed from mycelium and palm waste that took Dubai Design Week by sandstorm last year, and details the vision and design process underpinning that project. He also shares about his collaboration with a French outdoors company to create the world's first mycelium surfboard, in addition to other sustainability and design related topics.
