     Fast forward to the spring of the following year—I was diagnosed with a serious illness, and underwent major, life-threatening surgery. But in the midst of that trauma, the angels surrounded me. I could feel them. I knew they were with me. This experience opened my heart to a deeper truth: of all the divine beings in the higher realms, angels are the most accessible. They are always with us."
