The brothers check out a love letter to the dream and drive of the anime creation process with Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! With more goblins than a first level Dungeons and Dragons adventure module, Eizouken follows three first year high school girls as they pool their distinct skill sets to live out their dream of creating animation. With its colorful and immersive look at the creative process from vision to production, this anime is probably one of the best offerings of 2020. Also featuring: Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Machikado Mazoku, Re:Zero, and A Certain Scientific Railgun.

After reviewing the first two seasons of Netflix's original series Castlevania, the Aniki brothers try out the latest season to see how it measures up.

After reviewing the first two seasons of Netflix’s original series Castlevania, the Aniki brothers try out the latest season to see how it measures up. Set shortly after the events of the last season, the third installment follows four distinct plot threads focusing on two protagonist and two antagonist groups as they make their way in the land of Wallachia following the defeat of Dracula and his army. The brother’s first encounter with Castlevania was disappointing. Can Castlevania 3 regain their faith in the series? Also featuring: Rising of the Shield Hero, Listeners, and Tower of God.

We did it internet! Aniki has reached 100 episodes! And to celebrate our age, the brothers watch the (arguably) progenitor of all anime: Slayers. Following the incredibly talented sorceress Lina Inverse and her traveling swordsman companion Gourry, this early 90s anime takes its audience on a hilarious romp through a Dungeons and Dragons fever dream. It not only became an icon in its own right within anime history, but has inspired an entire generation of anime and manga creators who are now making the shows you know and love airing today. Also featuring: Aniki’s top episodes of all time.
