Gorillas are vegetarians and eat mostly leaves and shoots of plants. Like other monkeys and Great apes, they sometimes also eat fruit. To find their favorite leaves they often travel many miles. Habituated or new gorilla groups that are used to tourism may not travel as much.

Vervet monkeys are Old world monkeys from Africa. Groups can be normalized to dwell around tourist areas where they will find extra food, but are not reliant on this. They mostly forage for themselves, on trees, in bushes or on the ground. Since their natural sources of food can be found near humans, Vervets will also be there. Monkeys can travel from place to place, but normally have a territory. Their habitat in these areas can be well-established, usually longer then the arrival of busy tourists, therefore compete to live and eat among an approaching human population.

Vervets are Old World monkeys. They are common and said to be aggressive, but this most likely depends on the situation they are in. Most animals are aggressive in defense. Vervets are very smart and like other monkeys, can learn new habits in a 24 hour period.

"Infants spend the first week of life clinging to their mother's stomach. After about the third week, they begin to move about by themselves and attempt to play with other young monkeys. Infants are of great interest to the other monkeys in the troop; subadult females do everything possible to be allowed to groom or hold a new infant. Researchers report that usually a female's close family members will have the most unrestricted access to the babies. Baboons have a bad reputation for being aggressive, being bullies and being trouble makers. But they are curious and mimic humans in their behaviour. These large monkeys are smart, and sensitive to their environment. They are usually disliked and ill-treated as you will find many conflicts between them and humans.

Rainbows form when light goes through multiple drops of water and reflect the light in the color spectrum. A lot of midst makes light scatter and form the rainbow.

A Vervet monkey takes a nap until a bell goes off and wakes him up. Vervet monkeys are Old World monkeys, which means they are closely related to apes, more so than the New World monkeys. Like other Old World monkeys and some chimpanzees, they have sitting pads on their posterior, allowing them to sit and sleep upright. They can nap during the afternoon anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the bustle. They are genetically wired to be aware of their environment at all times, so if they hear something, they are most likely woken up and attentive to find out what it is.

Dolphins are swimming with the current of the boat. Why do they swim with boats? Because they get speed from it, where they have less resistance in the water and burn less energy. So it is a nice ride for them. Dolphins are also highly intelligent and curious animals. They want to know what that big loud fish is. They also know they may get some treats from the boat if they are habituated.

Relaxing brown pelicans, on the current. Pelicans do not chase prey underwater like other diving birds. Instead they wait until they come to the surface and take them in their mouth with large amounts of water.

This is an old giraffe that has won some battles. We could see many scars where he was not afraid to run away from. These scars and the fact he did not turn away from us, means he has been around for awhile. Giraffes on average live around 25 years of age in the wild.
