Anime Brothers

This is a very exciting episode for us Brothers. Not only is it our Sorta-Seasonal review for the Fall 2020 anime season, but we're also trying out some new equipment our Patrons helped us purchase. For the first time since episode 5 the Anime Brothers are recording together in the same "studio." We hope you enjoy the chemistry that seeing the other host allows us to have.

Other than that excitement, we're here to talk about some fresh anime. We start off by reviewing the first 12 episodes of an up and coming shonen, Jujutsu Kaisen. Afterwards we get into the newest season of one of this podcasts favorite anime, Haikyu!! Finally we branched out from each other for our third shows, JD caught up to and watched season 3 of Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon, and Earthworm watched (some of)  Akudama Drive.

Thank you to everyone who listens and supports our show! We hope you enjoy our thoughts on Fall 2020 anime!

Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. In anime it comes when a show has all the right stuff. Premise, characters, plot, but that last season or two just aren't the same. In this episode we give our opinions on which anime should or should have called it quits! As well as some anime we want more of, and just a few that are the perfect length.

The Anime Brothers are down a man in this episode. JD has taken the week off for personal reasons. To avoid being alone Earthworm has asked friend of the show Robby to join him on the adventure! Robby isn't quite the anime connoisseur that The Brothers are, but he's got a few shows that he's eager to talk about! Attack On Titan being one of them, and with the new season premiering there's plenty of hype to go around. We hope you enjoy one half of the Anime Brothers plus "Step-Brother" Robby!

We start this episode off with our Monthly Patron Q&A and some hype for an upcoming event. We hope you listen, but it's a long episode so we understand. If you'd like to get right to our guests and the bracket, 15:30  is where it starts.

We are happy to be joined by some amazing people for this episode. Matt & Brad from Otaku Melancholy and Mitch from Talkin' Anime! They've agreed to join our adventure to help determine who the greatest shonen protagonist of all time is. Of course this decision will be made via bracket-style tournament.  We had a lot of fun recording this one and we hope you have just as much listening!

Check Out Our Guests!

One of our hosts has hit a milestone. Earthworm has watched over 50 separate anime series, and to celebrate he's listing his Top 25! Just like any adventure, it's good to take some time and reflect on the experiences you've had. In our case those experiences are the shows we've watched. A lot has changed since the start of this show, while some things stay the same. Let us know what you think of his list, and if you've got a Top 25 of your own send it our way!

In this episode it's all about the Weapons of Anime! Well, not all about them. We've completed a few shows each and as always we like to talk about the things we're watching. After our extended "Catching Up" segment, it's all anime weapons! From swords, to guns, to these hands, and everything in-between. Let us know if we missed any weapons you thought should be included, or just talk to us about stuff @ any of our socials down below!

In this episode we're joined by two of our oldest friends, Ian (YungxHarm) and Robby! They've both been amazing musicians for as long as we've known them, so we thought we'd bring them on and hear their thoughts on some of our favorite OPs. Each host lays out 5, and it's up to our guests to tell us if they do indeed slap.

As always, let us know what anime OPs get your blood pumping at any of our socials!

Check out our guest's projects here!

Today we fly our degenerate flag high! We're each putting together a harem worthy of Olympic gold. As we play the part of MC-kun, we choose some of our favorite waifus from various anime to compete for our love. Some might say we're, "Living the dream..." (Insert laugh track here)

Reach out to us at any of our socials and let us know who you thought had the best harem, as well as which waifus you would choose!

For this episode, we decided to take some time and talk a little more in-depth about the shows we're currently watching. As well as a little reflecting on where the podcast has come, and where we plan to go from here. Listen to JD's thoughts on (Muscles the Anime) Baki, and Earthworm's thoughts on the most recent installment of (Formerly Know as Muscles the Anime) JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! Plus we get a little galaxy-brain with some Code Geass talk!
