Anime Pulse

This week on Anime Pulse we got tales form DC, the early release of a Sponge Bob movie, and the less harem anime season. Up first Joseph is back and shares with us Day 1 of his trip to DC as well as the swag acquired, and then Andrew steps up trying to root for the little guy with his community topic this week. Then in the industry news AI has begun to work at pubs, and a rather large leak of anime has eyebrows being raised. And lastly in the reviews Joseph gets fed up with a half-assed harem protagonist in a stupidly complex harem anime, and Andrew expands his domain before hitting us with that cursed purple technique.

This week we have a solo episode of Anime Pulse meaning that it was doomed from the start.. Andrew loses the first half of the episode due to tech skill issues while Joseph is touching grass. For the topic we get answers from the community on which series they would like to see a continuation of, followed by some captivating hard hitting news. Then there's the single chungus review that will close up the coverage of Dragon Ball Super, which will leave Andrew wishing for a more satisfying show.

This week on Anime Pulse we got plump elves, yummy sushi, and chainsaw wielding robots on the railroad. Up first Joseph takes about his surprise experience with sushi, and Andrew asks the community what their take is on the current season. Then in the industry news a memorial to the killed in the KyoAni attack is built, and the anime industry is doing so well investors are a knocking. And finally in the previews Joseph is seduced by cosplay wearing chubby elves after adopting twins in another world, and evil leader Andrew shoots to earn 1 million subscribers after forgetting to turn off his livestream where he falls in love with a magical girl.

We like to do theme episodes. Sometimes we choose them because of an actor’s passing. Sometimes a renewal of interest in a genre. This time we seem to have a theme but we couldn’t tell you why. Maybe there was a grip who worked on both of them. It’s a sort of mystery that’s outside of our pay grade. We start with Guarding Tess(1994). Nicolas Cage is a super special United States Secret Service agent. So special he’s guarding a former first lady played by Shirley MacLaine. They have their differences and with him being button down and focused on protocol and her chafing at the rules of the USSS. …

It’s lunch time again. Grab your tray and get in line. You’d better have an idea of what you want. The menu is at the start of the line and you better have read it. Take too long and we send you to the back. If you don’t see it, we don’t have it. Looking for a shonen manga and it’s not under the glass? Then it’s not available today. Don’t like it, come back later. As for what we have today we’re only going to say this once. Tim has a request with Mach GoGoGo. You know this no matter who you are. The Speed Racer theme has infiltrated …

This week on Anime Pulse we got really bad CG, a Dominos that doesn't sell pizza, and dragons. Fuji takes another life in less than a week, a bunch of publishers are fighting over Dragon Ball, and a pizza chain that only sells milkshakes. And finally in the previews Joseph is banished to the disposal temple altering attempting to commit double suicide with the strongest magician, and Andrew goes golfing with a deer friend in a flower shop.

Everyone, may I have your attention please? Listen up, I need everybody to stop what you’re doing. I’m Axel Foley, Federal Anime Inspector, everyone stop drawing, inking. Except for you, you finish up them tiddies. That is an anime girl with the boom, if you know what I’m saying. She’d better not be in high school or we’re going to have a serious problem. If you hadn’t guessed, we’re doing Beverly Hills Cop. We are focused on the newest that has an incredibly awkward title Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. There’s been rumor of a sequel to Beverly Hills cop in the works since the third one came and bombed …

This week on Anime Pulse we got a brand new season of anime, people dropping like flies on a mountain, and being denied a hot valkyrie. The finally in our first previews of the season Joseph parries a nobody newbie adventurer, and Andrew using his acting skills to date twins that speak Russian.

Is it really that time again? Oh crap, we have to pick a manga. Or two. We could probably go through the requests. But that would take some sort of effort. Everyone knows we don’t ply effort to things like selection. That’s reserved for silly things like selecting the toppings for carryout or gently handling golf clubs. We did find two, in spite of the effort it took. We hope you enjoy the discussion they’re sure to prompt. Tim has Director Kim. Hey, that rhymes. It’s a webtoon where the titular Kim is a boring office manager. His wife is dead but he has a daughter that he conflicts with. …
