Anime Pulse

This week on Anime Pulse we got fireworks, a mediocre VRMMO game, and gender swapping. Up first Joseph celebrated the 4th of July with four days off from work, and Andrew is thinking of taking a dip in the drowned girl springs. Then in the industry news a man departs from one train station alive and arrives at the next one dead, and that's all, for once Andrew has no news to speak of! And then finally our reviews see us out with Joseph playing a very bad VRMMO game after work, and Andrew makes a wish upon a star and become a cute girl so he can live that yuri life he's dreamed of.

All aboard! Maniacal laughter echoing into the distance. What do you mean, don’t say that part? It’s written in the script you gave me. I don’t know what kind of amateur hour circus you have going here. You’re clearly hiring me to do a knock off introduction of Crazy Train which will probably get you copyright struck. I don’t care enough to fight you on it, I’m just paid flat rate to read what’s on the page. I’ll let you sort this out while I talk about movies. Tim and Weltall start off with Death Train(1993). A Pierce Brosnan movie where a former USSR General makes two nukes, has a …

We founded a new company. We don’t have a charter, funding, or any kind of plan. But we will be offering a Kickstarter. That’s still a thing, right? We pride ourselves on being on the leading edge of trends. See also our brand new NFTs.(Please note this is a joke and don’t worry that we are making NFTs far too late in the party.) Tim has one more visit to Yankee JK Kuzuhana. If you recall, this is the manga where our protagonist, Saotome, is attending a business school. That school was, until recently, only for girls and he’s the only boy there. He’s getting a bit of a harem …

This week on Anime Pulse we got a very controversial pizza topping, MILF Isekai, and the blondest community topic yet. Up first Joseph was blown away by a Vodka cream sauce over Paccheri, and Andrew is looking for hot blonds in our area. Then in the news SONY buys out an entire movie chain, a man with no name saves a drowning boy, and AI artwork brings cancel culture. And lastly in the reviews Joseph tries out to become the next demon lord after killing the current one, and Andrew meet a ghost during summer fireworks to help him learn more about death.

This week on Anime Pulse we got people too dumb to imitate the police, sour sauerkraut, and a classroom for idiots. Up first Joseph talks about his experience with a recent Turkey Reuben, and Andrew would like to know who out favorite duos in anime are. Then in the industry news a man thinks he can shakedown a lady with just a necktie, and Guilty Gear is getting an anime made by the Sakura Wars studio. There’s a fascinating era of Hollywood where they just loved making Jack the Ripper into part of a film. This could often manifest as as garbage like Terror at London Bridge where Jack gets resurrected. Or Time After Time where Jack, played by the incredible David Warner, time travels to modern day Los Angeles and begins killing there. But how about a movie that references Jack the Ripper but does nothing with it? Enter, Jack’s Back (1988). The premise is that at the centennial mark of Jack the Ripper killings, a copycat has started up. And they’re killing the same kind of victims as OG Jack. James Spader plays a …

This week on Anime Pulse we got otaku bravery, damn good pizza, and degenerate community topics. Up first Joseph reports in on how his Blaze pizza turned out, and Andrew gets a little perverted with this week's community topic. Then in the industry news we got a full sandwich with the passing of a great, worrisome news about Gainax, and Himmel inspired actions. Lastly we're back to reviews as Joseph becomes a baby, is thrown out the window, and attracts a sexy wolf. Meanwhile Andrew is cursed with gender swapping while attempting to defend his thick thighed childhood friend.

Looks like the boys are back in town. By that, we mean the two hosts you’ve come to know an love so, so much. And by town we mean the manga that evident by the title and number attached. So won’t it be a surprise to everyone when we actually spend the whole time reviewing a pair of riding lawn mowers. Of course we can’t afford any of that. So we start with Tim and Black Night Parade. It’s Christmas in Japan. Our sad sack of a protagonist works at a convenience store and plans on stealing an expired Christmas cake. This gets him in trouble and fired. He stops …
