Anime Pulse

The impossible has finally come to pass. Star Citizen has been release in full, fully realized. It’s sweeping awards in every category and Netflix has already paid the studio one billion dollars to adapt it to streaming. Or maybe Chuck Norris has passed and rather suddenly. Which at least prompted a resurgence of old internet memes. To that effect though, we have Code of Silence(1985). Chuck Norris is a cop and he does cop things. This means doing raids and beating up nameless henchmen. A rich girl gets kidnapped by a cartel in response to the successful raids, there’s a cover up by a cop that shot someone, and also …

This week on Anime Pulse we got more previews, mall walks, and our favorite villains. Up first IRL news has Andrew has been smashing it with his weekly fitness targets, and Joseph won $200 in a raffle. Just one piece of news about Dragon Ball, and then it is straight into the previews. Joseph abducts a princess knight after his village is decimated by a blond loli just to tell her that her skirt is too short, and Andrew is feeling romantical as he replicates an ice queen in new game plus.

This week on Anime Pulse we got manga animated with texture rigging, getting down with the sickness, and anime to watch with aliens. Up first Andrew returns from his minor break to indulge us with his stories from the trip, and Joseph got a sinus infection and actually had to take a sick day off of work. Then we give a pass to industry news, because previews tend to run the show a little too long, but the community is still here with some Ayy LAMO. Lastly we're into a new season with new anime as Joseph east monsters, becomes a great sage, and is totally not banging his ninja-like companion. Andrew meanwhile becomes a North Star rooster who uses petals to reincarnate.

Does anything take you back to the good old days more than a Scholastic Bookfair? Not Tim because his parents didn’t authorize the spend for such things. There were plenty of books in the library for practically free. Kids who’s parents wanted to encourage reading though might remember the covers of Animorphs. You know, those hilariously bad transformations of some random kid turning into a boring animal. Well it was also a show! So this one is going to be a bit different as we didn’t both watch the show or read the books. Vanessa did though and she’s going to try and sell Tim on the experience. Listen to …

This must be the fake movie phone episode. What with the five five five starting us off. Does Hollywood even bother with that anymore? If not, it’s now ours. And we’ll make loads of disgusting lucre, we’re talking hundreds of yen per year, to license it out. Why we’ll be able to retire or at least die. Either way we have some manga reviews. Tim starts us off with Hooligan’s. This has nothing to do with either ne’er do wells nor with unruly soccer fans. It’s about alchemy in a vague Victorian-esque era. That’s also three hundred years after the discovery of alchemy. There’s a group of supreme alchemists who …

This week on VG Pulse, we have some spicy conversations!! We start off with side notes of Millennium’s blackout birthday bash, before diving into the regular news where we go over the changes coming to the PEGI rating system, the outcome of the incredibly bizarre Subnautica 2 situation, Nvidia’s DLSS 5 making everything worse for games, Nintendo taking another blow in their fight against Palworld, and one streamer facing justice for his horrific crime! After the news we discuss food and anime!! All this and more up next on VGP 432!! Music Intro – Tetris A Theme Guitar Cover by FamilyJules Outro – Tetris B Theme Guitar Cover by FamilyJules …

Look, we really like going back through film catalogs of famous actors. But if death could just slow it the heck down for a bit. Maybe go collect some mosquitoes instead. Because there are only so many losses we can take and the Academy’s “in memoriam” isn’t going to get them all at this rate. So we just said goodbye to Robert Duvall and decided to do something that was around but was not the Godfather. We have The Outfit(1973), a movie based on a novel. Which Tim has a few interesting, he swears, tidbits about the author and character. Duvall is getting out of jail after he and his …

This week on Anime Pulse we got the Spring Cleaning Giveaway, your choice in bodyguards, and heroes with social anxiety. Up first IRL news with Andrew got a terrible hangover and then went for a run, and Joseph got his car fixed and is playing a new game. Then in the industry news Mr. Atatatata himself will become a playable character in a fighting game. Lastly the reviews wrap things up with Joseph recruiting a part of girls who all secretly want to kill him, and Andrew becomes the strongest man alive by beating up everyone else.

We count on our volunteer skywatch to be on the lookout for threats. Make sure you know your region designation, your local chapter captain, and the report number you’re to call if you spot anything. As always be on the lookout for the most devious air threat, the dual manga review. This twin engine menace will appeared at dusk on Mondays, ready to strike like a ninja. In fact it looks like there’s one coming in right now! First up is Tim with SHWD. The cover tells us this is pronounced “should”. Like, should you even bother opening this up and reading it? It’s a vague date in the near …

This week on Anime Pulse we got mysterious car liquids, frustrating anime characters, and really poor communication. Up first IRL news has Andrew saved up a bunch of ammo for the final boss in RE9, and Joseph gets super lucky with some car trouble. Then in the industry news a One Piece director thinks adaptations are no good. Lastly more reviews with Joseph failing to properly communicate with the hero's party, and Andrew gets back on that saddle and recruits some spicy horses.
