Prior to the anniversary, Tkachuk got his day with the Cup, and tied the knot with the love of his life, a perfect weekend for the Tkachuk Family. With Tkachuk getting married and likely traveling for his honeymoon, that'll be a bit of a hold up for him getting surgery this offseason, which with the how the Panthers approached the final month of the season and an 84-game season coming in 2026-27, more players are going to be taking the time to rest their players for the playoffs, copying the Panthers way. Some teams might not have any seeding to fight for because they may be locked in to their seed, so will load management end up forcing the NHL to go back to a 1-8 playoff format?
