It's another baffling outcome as Oklahoma loses to Kansas State 41-34 in a game where OU couldn't get out of its own way to even seriously threaten the Wildcats on Owen Field. Carey and Eddie are tired, cranky and at a loss for how to keep doing podcasts when unthinkable losses like these happen. Thankfully we have an office on Campus Corner and Mike Hosty was playing next door at The Deli. Because Fox Sports/Bally Sports videographer Christopher Fitzpatrick stopped by to wallow in misery with us. He probably was the only one who had a realistic take on where the Sooners go from here. It was tough to watch Brent Venables and Dillon Gabriel in the postgame press conference. It was certainly the lowest moment for everyone since the Venables' era began.
