Is this the correct way to train??? The short answer from me is NO!!! Sure it has its place when training for an event but when trying to get fitter and building a base going all out just isn't adding up.

The wolf of the Gold Coast Horse Racing.

Trav has gone about his business slightly under the radar getting the job done after getting a head but mid-season crushing his nose which he couldn't breathe out of he decided to prolong the operation so he could chase after the Gold Coast jockey premiership the decision paid off he is now king of the coast and has a target on his back for this season.

Trav is a proud Queenslander and coming from a Racing family shows us a different perspective. He chose a different path after being around Racing so much did not love it as a kid growing up. He speaks about his other passions bmx, speed way racing and how it takes a toll on weekends with family's.

But one lazy but confident moment as a teenager has set him on a path to fall in love with the sport and the animals that he grew up resenting.

Trav show his competitiveness but also willingness to learn and his journey all over Racing is something I take lessons from. Get experience from as many people out there and then use that to create your own style.

Can he go back to back??? I Vote YES!!! But will the other boys have something to say about that what a season this will be.

KONA IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPION full time hell man and CO CAPTAIN of the Australian Invictus Team GOLD MEDALIST Matty Brumby is a MACHINE....

Matty Brumby qualified for the Ironman World Championships, despite their being only four hand cycle spots available worldwide. The gruelling format for the Ironman race is a 3.8km swim, 180km hand cycle through the city of Kona and out into the lava fields, returning to the city centre on a racing wheelchair for 42.2km.

At 22 Matty Brumby had an accident that changed his life. But from the moment he realised what his future held he absolutely went after it!!! If you ever need strength or focus in you life, this story will guide you, it will push you to make a choice on how you want to live and it will motivate you to not waste a single second.

His ability to continue to push the boundaries of what a paraplegic should be doing is nothing short of inspiring. The man still rides Jet Skis, Surfs, Trains like an animal and was the first paraplegic in the world to hit a freestyle motocross ramp. LET THAT SINK IN!!! legs strapped in engine on LETS HIT IT!!!

I can easily say I LOVE MATTY BRUMBY, I love the bloke he is 100% what it is to be human. The Ups and downs, moments of triumph, moments of failures and disappointments. But his willingness to try anything and put his heart and soul into his chosen path is nothing short of extraordinary.

PERSEVERANCE!!! when others hung up the boots FREEDY kept going!!! PERSEVERANCE!!! He kept showing up day in day out taking every chance that he had presented to him. The end result the number 1 jersey for the WORLD CUP USA side in rugby league. What a journey!!!

From travelling over an hour every day to training, To having to leave Australia while his father was battling cancer. What ever needed to be done FREEDY was there.

It just goes to show sometimes everything happens for a reason and at the end of the podcast we look back and you can see how everything connects, how small decisions he made and small opportunity's led to him being able to achieve big results. I Loved catching up with the lad and talking through his journey absolutely amazing what he was able to achieve and the man is still PLAYING!!!

One word RADICAL! Talk about an abundance of talent Jag 22 years old knows no fear. Legit he will try anything (and usually kill it) from surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX, motocross, boxing you name it he will have a go. The competitiveness just oozes out of him! I LOVE IT and what a podcast it was. Put talent aside, Jag commits to everything he does and it is a great story leading into his career as a professional jockey. His ability to adapt and compete blows me away.

Jag is Gold Coast born and bred there are some DOOZI story’s in there.

Jimmy dives into a subject that is always swept under the rug. Battles with consistent use of drugs and alcohol. After turbulent years he had the strength to check himself into rehab and has come out stronger then ever. Every day is a battle and we speak about the power of daily routine and setting goals.

Luke is 42 and still kicking ass and taking names. He recently competed in the Men's Physique Natural Body Building Competition and cleaned up the divisions.

To achieve these victories he set out a 10 month process, to which he did not miss one step (literally you'll hear about it in the podcast). This focus over such a long time shows what the body can do if the mind is not weak. Day in, day out, trusting the process, a true showing of what grinding everyday can produce.

I got to see the hard work day in day out as Luke and I both train at the same gym. His head down, hoodie on, no talking, we are here to train attitude gets you asking, Why am i smiling? I need to focus.

His dedication comes from what we all fight. That inner self, losing control of your thoughts and in turn making wrong choices. Luke speaks on controlling the little man or woman in your head through routine and dedication.
