Apologia Church

This is a message from our series "Why We Believe". This week we are studying an important subject on why we believe that God's Law has abiding validity, today.

-Jeff Durbin-

Christians believe the Bible is the very Word of God. It is unique. It is powerful. We are to have reverence for it. But, how many of us understand or can explain the history of God's Word and why we believe that God has preserved it? Can you explain why you believe? Join us for the newest sermon from Apologia Church delivered by Pastor James White on the subject of why we believe that God has preserved His Word.

Pastor James taught this message for our series on the Doctrines of Grace/the Five Points of Calvinism. We worked through TULIP (the videos are on this channel as recent videos) and now we will have two messages on objections to Calvinism. Dr. White taught this message responding to the "contrary" biblical texts that are most often used to "refute" Calvinism.

-September 13, 2020-

Pastor Jeff Durbin preached this message as a summary message for our recent series on TULIP. Lord willing, we will be doing two more messages addressing the alleged contradictions and "contrary" biblical texts.

We are in our series on the Doctrines of Grace/the Five Points of Calvinism. This sermon is on Perseverance of the Saints from the acrostic TULIP. Can a person who is truly saved lose their salvation? What does the Bible teach, consistently, about God's promises to protect and preserve His elect people in Jesus Christ? Watch as Dr. White explains.
